    V35 fit 2 v18 slot?
I have cserpents v18 rack and was wondering if I could buy v35 tub to put in place of 2 v18s? Just don't know if the dimensions are off or OK. Thanks

The rack uses vision tubs. If anyone know about vision v18 and v35 tubs I'd appreciate it.

Have you tried contacting Chris at C Serpents? Shoot him an email and you should have an answer pretty quick.

From the Vision website http://visionproducts.us/vp12wp/?page_id=22), the V-35 tubs are definitely going to be too tall to fit in a V-18 rack. They're 1.75" taller than the V-18s. They're also 2" longer.

Edit: You may be able to fit a V-35S tub in there (shorter version V-35 which is as tall as the V-18), but I'm not at home to measure to see if the 2" length difference is going to be a problem or not.

Thanks. Looks like there is v35 and v35 s which is same height but 2 inches too long. But I'll still email Chris and ask about it. Thanks for help

Not sure if you got an answer from Chris yet, but I was able to measure the V-18 rack I have from him. It's only 19" deep, so my gut says the V-35S wouldn't fit securely into the standard V-18 rack he makes.

Could you let me know if you find out any differently?

If you have one shelf that uses 2 V18 tubs you can fit 1 V35S tub depending on the rack.

V35S are the same height as V18 however V35 are not they are a little higher.

Foot print for V35 and V35S is identical.

The extra 2" length of the V-35S won't be a problem, Deborah (Rack is 19", V-18 is 18", V-35S is 20")? Would a snake nose be able to squeeze into the seam from the tub sticking out a bit (overlap of 1") to push it open and escape?

If not, I'm excited that I would have another tub option for my rack from Chris. :)

That is what I was thinking. Waiting on Chris's reply to see what he says

Yes an overlap would be an issue as it would allow the snake to push and open the tub.

Chris is making new racks, where V18 and V35s and even V15 are interchangeable and therefore built with the little extra length accommodate both tubs, the old ones are meant for V18 alone I am sure.

Some of his new rackd (which I have seen 3 weeks ago) have shelves that are all equal in height capable to accommodate either 3 v15 or 2 v18 or 1 v35s tubs.
