Okay so I bred a black pastel to a pastel whiteout or so that's what I was told she is when I bought her. The babies are throwing me for a loop any help would be great. Thank you!!

Not sure why you think there's something wrong with your black pastel sire? The baby black pastel is beautiful. The black pewter is beautiful as well. And the last two babies are normals. No regular pastels in the lot.

I wasn't saying there is anything wrong with the sire, I was talking about the baby. Sorry it must have read wrong lol

The black pastel babies do have a more 'cinnamon' look to them, but they're fine. No pastels in the bunch though.

The sire looks more like a cinnamon to me as well. Has he produced any black pastels?

Wow, I see what you mean! Was the female ever paired with any other male or was she virgin? The two last ones are normals, the third one is a black pewter but the first ones? Were there only 5 eggs? Are the babies normal size?

The female was virgin until this clutch. She layed 4 viable eggs and 3 infertile. And yes the babies are normal size

I agree. Cinnamon, not a Black Pastel.

Then I agree with the others. Light colored cinnamons.

I have to agree. Dad is very nice, but I don't see black pastel in him at all. He doesn't have any of the characteristic squiggles in his alien heads, nor do the babies. I see a smokin hot cinnamon, a super sweet pewter, and a couple extra nice normals.

I tell you, I'd die to have a cinny like that one in my collection, and I already have a pretty sick female cinny.
