Send her the link to care sheets for both snakes. Maybe even highlight some of it.

Would recommend she brush up on animal knowledge and people skills. But I like KMG's advise.

This seems like way more headache than it's worth. If I had gotten as far as composing that email to her (which I would not have), I would have taken Herm Edwards's advice and not pressed send.

I never called them Gardner snakes. Half the comments on this post are correcting the spelling of the name. I know you are just joking around and being funny, but it's getting old pretty fast.

:weirdfaceYes, but you never called them garter snakes either. After being corrected several times you still made a post that seemed to suggest you found two mythical gardner snakes and released them in your garden. You were not appearing to knew and understand the difference and you gave us the ammo for the jokes. Pretty small and harmless jokes that most of were not directed at you but just good fun between snake lovers.

Where I am from we pronounced it 'guarder' snakes as well, but that is also how we pronounce garter, as in garter belt.

If it makes you feel any better, she didn't have the greatest people skills with me either.

As a teenager I always wondered why someone would wear one around their thigh...garter in a southern accent. Bahahahaha (laughing at self)

Grew up with Garter snakes my Mom Always telling us leave them alone the are very important to have around. At BHP They have a Beautiful Albino its Yellow and Purple, if my Mom was still alive she would get a kick out of this thread always saying to us it's not a Gardener snake we were like 8 and my brother 5.
