Such a hard choice Bel vs bel
Both of these girls were produced by my babies. And it's such a hard choice to choose one to sell and one to keep.

The bigger one has always been a great eater from the beginning. The littler one has had to be asst fed a bunch of times. But now had eaten like a monster too

They are both beautiful to me. How would you guys chose?

I'd go with the best eater and the cleanest white.

Assuming all other things are equal like the genetics etc.

Samy that's a tough decision like Doc said go with the Whitest one also check the eyes they vary a bit when I went over I saw that first one has really light Blue eyes I like that.

I like the one on the left but I'm assuming he or she used to be a problem feeder huh? I would just keep them both.

I would pick the one with the best temperament. I like to hold and show off my bps :)

Aesthetically they look fairly similar. Given that I would probably go with what has been said and keep the better eater.

Do you have future breeding plans for one?
Are these your only 2 bels?
If you have space, I would keep both.

I'd keep both. You know the genetics and Super females probably will not bring what they are worth as babies vs. as were you to keep them till they are ready to breed.

    Just my opinion..... ;)

Wow I had so many responses. Thank you everyone. I'd love to keep both. But I don't know if I have the space to keep so many snakes lol

She was the one we had to asst feed several times. But as soon as she understood that a rat goes in bin and a rat is food. She started to eat very well for me. So far she's eaten five times on her own.

I would keep both but if you really must let one go, hold back the cleanest one.

I'd keep them both too. They're worth more as future breeders than what you'd probably get for them.

BELs do nothing for me at all so I'd sell BOTH and buy a Pied & Lesser & Pastave :)

It's true that you might get more for them once they're adults, but when you factor in the cost of food for two years, substrate, etc, it's probably not a big difference. And the whole one in the hand, two in the bush thing.

Personally I'd keep them both. :)

When you breed your own rats the cost of feeding snakes doesnt matter as much because the cost is so little.

True. I did not know if OP was breeding his own feeders or not. Just wanted to throw that out there an another angle to look at.

$100/year per snake on feeding a $2 rat a week if you don't breed your own rats.....

    Keep both ;)

LOL - I am with Zincubus. A partly white snake is so much more interesting than a completely white one :)

But the whole reason I even got into ball pythons is because of bels!

Great looking BELs! If you really had to let one go, I would go with personality over appearance since they are almost identical!
