Last clutch results. My most anticipated one XD
It was my male butter het hypo to my female spider het hypo.
We decided to cut mainly because one of the eggs looks weird to me.
The first egg was a butter hypo. Unfortunately that one had a twisted umbilical cord. We ended up cutting off the the yolk. Right now it is doing well. And building some energy. But we will need to assit feed it soon.
The other eggs look okay so far.
So we have
1 butter hypo
2 honey bee
2 spider
1 normal
2 butter bees. Not sure if they have hypo. They look really light. But I'm hoping it will be easier to tell when they come out. Or after they shed.
Either way I'm pretty excited
Yea! Hoping for a butter bee hypo xD

What can you do for a twisted umbilical cord? From what I've heard that is something that you can't help.

If you catch it before the snake dies. You can tie it off and cut it. That way the snake has a possibility of survival. We feed it immediately afterwards. That way it has some food. So now we wait to see if it sheds. Hopefully everything else goes fine.

That's okay. Those all white snakes is the reason why I started in bps. They are called Bels. Blue eye lucestics

I will definitely have to remember that...
is the lucestic a recessive thing like albino?

Not really. But they're are snakes that people will label het for Lucy. And that just means that if this snaked paired with another snake the outcome will be a Lucy.

Not 100% sure if we plan to keep her. Me and boyfriend for sure would keep her if she was 100% hypo. But I guess only time can tell for that.

I hope she finds an awesome home if you don't keep her. I'd love to see what she looks like when she's older so hopefully whoever she stays with could join the forums and post an update eventually
If you two were anywhere close and I were further along in my experience i'd offer to babysit anytime, haha.

She's still super small. But the efforts that my boyfriend made to save her has so far proved very helpful and important. She refused this weeks feeding. So hopefully next week she eats. But before she shed she ate three times on her own. I hope it's only because she was finishing shedding that she didn't want to eat.

That sounds not too bad. Congrats anyways! Are you planning on holding her back?
