Great can't wait to get this pied :)

another question regarding this, do you guys that have this enclosure prefer the florescent lights they sell with the units or do you use some other lighting? Right now in my glass enclosure im using LED strip lights but for my ap enclosure i was gunna move these over and possibly add blue ones for night time viewing. any suggestions or thoughts would be appricated.
-
I like the fluorescent lights that come with the enclosure because AP predrilled all of the holes and put the screws in so it looks very neat. Although you might be able to save some money with the led strips and make them look neat depending how you decide to mount them.

well even with the fluorescent lights i could still do the blue in there, just kind of debating it still because the extra heat from the lights would help since im in wisconsin and its cold. im thinking i might just order it with the lights..

Can anyone post some pictures of how they ran there RHP cables and such in the T8 enclosure
-
just tryin to get everything ordered, going to order my t-8 tomorrow with divider and no lights(going LED way), im going to use the full enclosure for my 1 BP right now but once i get another one coming i will install the divider, for the RHP should i just put a 40w centered on both sides so when i do get the other one i can just pop the divider in? this would mean my hotspot would be in the middle location where the divider will go, and both ends as cooler spots, will this work?

Re: T-8 ap enclosure
I used a little hand saw and just widened that air flow slat for each side of my divided T8. Worked good. I also used the LED light kit....(which I love) instead of purchasing light from ap.

I have a good plan on what I'm going to do with it and such, just waiting on AP to ship the "quick ship" enclosure..5 business days so far.. and my herpstat 4 to come in the mail which should be friday

Re: T-8 ap enclosure
Even APs "quick ship" stuff has been at least a month out (typically longer) in my experience. Good on you if you get it sooner than that, but I wouldn't bet on it. Have you gotten an invoice from Ali yet with a shipping date estimate?
-
only thing i have received is
"Thank you for your order and reply!! You should receive an automated e-mail from FedEx containing the tracking information the evening your order ships out. Please, let us know if you have any questions. Have a great day!

Re: T-8 ap enclosure
That's about par for the course. Chances are it'll ship the week after next, but you should have it before Christmas. Heck, maybe they'll ship my newest rack on the same day they ship your T8!
-
Haha yea I hope so I have everything to set it up
-
Well I got my T-8 in the mail today.. just got done unpacking and they forgot my divider.. blah hopefully Ali can get me one in the mail soon since only takes a day to ship from there to here.. few questions tho does there need to be a air gap between my wood table and the flexwatt for air circulation like my glass enclosure? when mounting stuff in cage, lights and such do you have to predrill the holes in the pvc material?
-
Re: T-8 ap enclosure
Ali is awesome - just give her a call and she'll straighten the divider mixup up quickly. You did order one, right? Also, if you ordered lights from them, the PVC will be predrilled. If not, you'll have to drill yourself. Lastly, as long as your flexwatt is on a thermostat, you don't need an air gap. Mine was sandwiched between the table and the enclosure.

Yea already talked to her about it and will be shipping with the glass and yea didn't order there lights I have a cryon led system I'll be using
