Hi, I'm Angelique, and I have a ball python addiction. It has been 33 days since I purchased by last (and first) ball python. I knew from the moment I got Atticus that I was in trouble, but I didn't really admit it to myself until today. My boyfriend is home on lunch break, and I asked him to send me a picture of Atticus. Because I'm sure that something either terrible or amazing is happening at 12:30pm... (sleeping qualifies as "something amazing," for the record)

Hi, I'm Latifah.

I am in the beginning stages of ball python addiction. I got my first one October 1st and my second October 30th, both normals. One male, the other I'm not sure, we adopted the Little Monster from the shelter (very healthy, turns out our municipal shelter gets a lot of snakes through arrests).

My next one will be a black pastel, and there's an expo next Saturday....

I got my first ball python in August, and last week I purchased my fifth. The addiction was rapid, and aggressive.
My boyfriend has begged me that one was ok, but five is the limit, so I am seeking help.

Ashee I browse too but this time it ended with a purchase a nice little banana male and spider female. Hopefully this will be my last purchase until after winter.

Hello all, my name is Lucien and I see myself treading the fine edges of BPA. I recently acquired my first (a Pastel) and I already know that the only thing keeping me from having more is the troubles I'm having getting this one comfy and set in his home. But I can easily see myself falling deep into the terminal BPA stages once I nail down how to provide perfect homes for any new additions...and there are so many additions I see in my future. Add to that my interest in eventually breeding them and I can easily say that the addiction is in my blood....sitting,waiting, planning for the day I get confident in being a caretaker. Then I know it'll completely take over.

I look forward to joining all of you here so we can enjoy the addiction together.

My name is Reed and I'm a Ball Python addict. Luckily, my girlfriend is also an addict as well. She still lives with her parents and they don't allow her to have a snake in the house, so her addiction is lived vicariously through me. The first snake I got was a Vanilla, 66% het pied, male, named Akeda from a breeder near my parent's house in CT. Less than 1 month after getting the first one, I got an Albino female named Cleo from a breeder closer to me in NH (as a gift for my girlfriend of course). The first breeder I went to recently posted pictures that two of her 100% het pied snakes are mating and my girlfriend gave me the go-ahead to get one of the pied babies that come from that clutch. She's slowly building a list that I'm adding to. Here it is:

4. Butter Ghost
5. Axanthic Caramel
6. Super Cinnamon
7. TSK Axanthic
8. Queen Bee

every day it seems like there are more and more added to this list.

You can see how much Akeda has grown since I got him on Oct. 24th. He went from 110 grams to over 200 grams in about a month and a half. He is almost 23 inches long too.

In the last 2 years, I went from having a single female that I kind of bought on a lark while on vacation (don't cringe, had plenty of experience just no bps in a long time) to having 36 right now, and that's not counting my first ever clutch of 6 that I'm currently trying to sell.
