My first ball python in 15 years.
I used to have a ball python when I was in high school, but since then so many morphs have emerged. When I was in high school you had two choices, normal and albino that were readily available.
I was honestly shocked when I saw my first morph.
Needless to say I had to have one. I instantly fell in love with this High White Pied, and he's been my snuggle buddy since [emoji4]

He was sold to me as a normal pied. But every time I take him to conventions or reptile shops, they all argue he's got something else (:
I've heard he looks like a mix of anything from a pastel pied (but has no green eyes) to a cinny pied like you said.
If he ended up being something else, bonus for me :D

Thank you!!! He is a handsome boy. And oh it feels great! I didn't have this awesome community when I was first starting. This forum has been a life saver in a refresher crash coarse in care and genetics! :D

Oh yeah, this site has been my main source of information by far, and not just for Ball Pythons. All reptiles and inverts, even fish! Top forum!

Agreed! And on top of all the amazing information shared here, I have yet to meet someone rude. It's so nice to see people with the same passions, coming together and helping out. It's awesome :D

I never even heard about UTH's back then either. So many things we need to do to keep them properly now so I'm just amaised I kept Monty alive all those years with just the heat lamp on him.
I came across a guy that needed to downsize back in September and got the 2 I have now. (Pastel & a Bumblebee) I'm so hooked.....
I gotta put a little more weight on my Girl then i'll be breading her to my male.
Gotta build my snake rack system also.

Same here! I'm honesty shocked my boy was able to survive back then with me not knowing what I know now.
And I have a pastel and a bumble too!! Some of my favorites. Their eyes are gorgeous!
I was going to build a rack to save money. But when I sold my house I got more than expected and was able to invest in some really nice racks. They should be here in a few weeks and I'm so excited. It'll be my first time using racks (:

Thank you! :D I never thought I'd ever get a chance to own a high white, but I really lucked out and found him on craigslist. I was surprised at how good of health he was in.
I'm still new to the morphs and such and don't know what Nags are :P lol
Re: My first ball python in 15 years.
Same question here...what's a nag?
