TJL Exotics 2014-15 Breeding Thread

It's that time of the year again and things are starting to fall into place. The females are ready to go, as are the males. I wanted to share the animals that are being paired this season, and as I did last year, I'll update this thread from start to finish.

Here are the males. They're both proven breeders and produce babies that are pretty sweet.

These next three animals represent three generations of breeding. I really, REALLY want to see what is going to come out of these eggs.

First up is Grandma. Her name is Bambi. She's super clean. (Mojave Nazca het Hypo)

Thanks Corey, I appreciate it. I'd like for another male and maybe a female or two to join the party later in the season, but I'll have to wait and see how they continue to progress. It'd be wicked sweet to see this little hypo enchi disco locked with Candy next year. :)

Man if you get a hypo enchi fire male please keep me in mind! I've been hoping that one would pop up in the next year so I can purchase him as a future breeder for my mimosa and hypo black butter. I would even take a het depending how he looks. I know its far from now but I would love one of those. Anyways good luck with your pairings and season!

It's definitely going to be an exciting season. Waiting until summer is going to be tough! I appreciate the comment about my hypo enchi, and thanks for stopping by and viewing. :gj:

I've waited a really long time to see this lock. This is my favorite pairing.

This girl ovulated a few weeks ago and shed yesterday. Eggs should be on the ground in about a month. :)

Nice! Is that a Mojave Nazca? Or a Mojave something? It looks like the alien heads are pulled up kind of high and has a lot more blushing than just a Mojave, but the color doesn't look quite like the Mojave Nazcas you produced last year, also not quite as much of the Granite look as last year's animals. I'm a sucker for stuff with Mojave!

Thanks! I believe so. Let me get a picture of the neck in a bit. The neck (and side pattern in general) is pretty darn cool!

The last two are (especially the one with the unbroken dorsal stripe) what I was going for by breeding the mojave nazca to that particular female. My friend bred that female to a lesser mojave last year when he had her; the female below was the result. After seeing that, I went on a small mission to make it happen. I think I hit my goal. :)

I'm raising up a mojave nazca ph hypo female that I think will prove out. In addition to that girl, I have a paint het hypo female that I've raised to breeding size. I'll pair her up as well so I can try for neat hypo combos.
