Just don't use your own bedroom as a snake room. I made this mistake and eventually ran out of room. I ditched the bed for more enclosure space and now sleep on a couch in the office; sometimes on the floor in the reptile room on cold nights since it's so warm.

I have 7 now, hoping for 8 after the reptile show in November. I have too many (according to my husband). For myself, I'd like to top off at around 12... we'll see if I ever get there lol.

The lady isn't too keen on having more than one snake, at least at this point. So for now room won't be a concern. BUT terrifyingly loud farts could be a reason to locate outside the bedroom :rofl:

This is hilarious. We're renting from my boyfriend's mom who was a bit of a hoarder and I'm motivating him to clean stuff out by saying, but we need the room for our snakes! Whether we keep furniture that we find or not seems to be revolving around, "Can we use this for the snakes or will it prevent us from having more because it's taking up space?" Working on clearing out the smallest bedroom to turn it into a snake room. :rolleye2:

Realistically? Probably too many, but I have been eyeing my 13 year-olds bedroom as a dedicated herp room. I mean, it's a perfect layout. If I kick him out with a car and a cell phone he should be ok, right? LOL
