Gotta Love Super's
I bred my BEL male to a few normals this year and even though there was no guessing game or anticipation as to what was possibly going to hatch, I was still super excited when these hatched!
Below are a couple examples of some Mocha's and Lesser's I hatched. The hard part is not keeping them all.

And for those who aren't impressed by beautiful, simple single gene animals, here's last seasons Chimera :P

Holy crap. That chimera is amazing. What pairing did that come from??

That is really really cool!

I paired a Pastel Lesser & Champ to a normal and out he popped.

That's really awesome. It couldn't look any better lol congrats on producing that :)

Re: Gotta Love Super's
Can a chimera come from anything? And it is just as random as a paradox? Has it been tested as genetic yet?

It can happen with any pairing and is just as random as paradoxing. Some people speculate that some paradoxing is actually a form of chimerism. I don't believe it's been proven genetic though. I hope to see what this guy provides in the future.

Love those. Can you buy them or do people hold onto them the majority of the time? I'd love to have one and see what the babies come out as

The Chimera is lovely, of course. Do they have any difficulty breeding? I know in some cases of chimerism in other species the offspring can have mixed sex organs that makes reproduction interesting (or impossible). I don't know of any actual chimera breeding projects, mostly because of the reproductive problems/rarity associated with chimerism, but my guess would be any offspring produced by this one would have the genetic makeup of either the pastel lesser or champagne, not both (or at least not in a single animal). However, I have no idea if any of the offspring would have the possibility of being chimera's themselves. About as genetic as the possibility of twins, except that chimeras are a good deal more rare than regular twins. Is it male or female?
I ramble. I really like the biological implications behind certain morphs and genes, so ignore me if I get carried away. All these babies are very pretty, I love how the lessers look when they're young, and the colors only get cooler as they mature.

I'm not sure to be honest. I've never seen a true chimera for sale. Everything has been labeled as paradox so far.

I'm not sure about the breeding part. He hasn't been bred and he's the only true chimera that I know of. But based on the info I have gathered, if he can breed, he should only be able to pass along either PL or CH. Not both.
