the best thing to do is take your snake to the vet.If i see a pic,i can take an educated guess that i learned from a breeder.

Its important to get some good training on how to do this before attempting yourself. Probing the wrong way can permanently damage your snake. I wouldnt guess at this. I would suggest getting in touch with your local herp society to see if they can help you find someone quailfied to teach you. You need some hands on experience with this before trying yourself and a vet just might not be able to get you that.

I would definitely want to know what sex my snake is. The only true way to know is by having your snake probed by a quailfied individual. Just looking at the tail or the spurs might give you an idea, but not 100%.

That still doesnt help me. How long the tail is? Long is male or female? I also heard that you can tell by the size of their head. Small head is a male.

i dont know about the head but how you can tell by the tail on the male is it has more thicker tail, on the female the tale is more thin and is longer after the cloaca. You can go onto other sites and se on sex determination. Pics also help some.

I have the bp manual and it has a great pic of the comparison between the two. But probing is the only 100% way of findin out
