I was just soking by bp in some warm water because of the bad shed and shee took a gigantic crap! is this normal? plz help

Yes it is normal, dont worry about it.

Perfectly normal as Jeanne said. Actually, a warm bath has been known to stimulate bowel movements.

same here woooh was that nasty but i was cool cuz it was better te bath then the cage.

Hehe yep sure is - in fact I will let Neph take a swim before I handle her for any significant amount of time. Just so she gets all that out of the way (and not on me).

Pfft, you just be lucky yours are doing it in baths and stuff which is easy to clean. Since I've had my bp, she's gone 4 times. And every one of those times weren't in her cage. First time, it was down my shirt...urine, feces, everything. Second time it was a big ol' stinky log of feces in a little rubbermaid I had her in while taking her for a visit to my Gramma. Then third was down my sisters shoulder just a week or so ago. And now again, today, on my bed and down my leg as I had her out for a little play. So I had to wash my pants, my bedding, everything. First time it happened and she did the duty on me, I was like "awww, gross, but she must be comfortable with me to go while I'm holding her". But now, after the 4th time...I'm starting to think she has it out for me. :) I mean, its part my fault cuz I noticed she was a bit sausage buttish...but I figured if she hasn't gone now, she wouldn't in the 10 minutes while I'm holding her. But she did. Either theres something about me that gets her loose and comfortable, or I bother her and she just waits till I get her out of her enclosure to go all over me. :twisted:

Yet, I wouldn't trade her for the world. 8)

nellie likes to go on me too. she has gone 3 times while out of her cage thus far. yup, all on me. once i got the pee and as soon as i set her on the floor so i could reach for a towel out came the poo. so at least i didn't get pooed on every time. and i'm about to head over to clean the cage now. oh the joys of snake keeping. but you're right cody--i wouldn't trade nellie for anything either. :D

I know its coming, i'm just not looking too forward to it ;). I guess i'll feel honored :D

lol, I felt honored the first time. Not so much the 4th though.....;)

schurke took a leek on me the first time I handled him at the herp show and several times after Although I quickly pull him away and for a small snake he leaves a puddle.

I like to give em a bath every couple weeks. Saves on cage cleaning.
After I give em a bath, I take an item or two out of their enclosure and soak it in the bathtub with a little bleach. That way I clean my poopy bath and sterilize stuff in their enclosure in one shot.

I haven't had my bp long enough to know if he's going to make it a habit. He urinated on me the first time I picked him up in the pet store. It's kinda weird, but I wondered if the snake had decided he was going to mark me, as "his". (To my knowledge, snakes don't do that sort of thing.) I was definately amused and disgusted at the same time.

wow. this is so crazy to me. i didn't think bp's ever went out of their cage. i've never worried and i handle often. he doesn't really go that much. but i know he's healthy i've consulted lots about it and he's seen a vet but he just would never poop out of his cage i think. now my lizard is a whole nother story :roll:
