If neither snake is carrying Desert then I would say Enchi Pastel. The Spinner doesn't look like it is desert and the Pastel being female shouldn't be able to reproduce if Desert. So nice snake.

How coincidental is it that we just hatch out a 1.0 Enchi Pastel today!! Along side a Super Pastel not out of the egg yet.

Pairing was an Enchi Pastel x Pastel..... 6 eggs (these two and the rest are all Pastels still in the egg).

Not an Enchi Pastel, sorry. Enchi pastels have a clover looking headstamp.

I know you are very experienced in enchi so I am not doubting you. I realize it doesn't have the typical clover leaf pattern, but the head is a lot darker then most bees I have ever seen. Also, the sire is pretty reduced for a spider and the pattern on the hatchling is back to being pretty organized, almost like it has lost the appearance of spider. Be curious to see it after it has grown a bit.

There is no chance that animal does not have enchi and pastel in it. None.

I think the real question here is whether or not you hit on the spider. I vote yes. The one that died - do you know why? We could be seeing some strange effect due to an incubation or development issue? Either way, that animal has pastel enchi in it.

The pastel that died just never made it out of the egg. It went full term and when I came home from work it was half way out laying upside down.

I personally don't see spider in there. Theres a pastel enchi on fauna right now that has an identical head pattern, and a similar reduced pattern. Thats my 2 cents :gj:.

If you have time and a partner for it then pair it up when it is big enough, it does have pastel and enchi in it but I can't say for certain if it has spider.
