Mystic Potion vs Super Mystic

Alright, when I first saw pictures of Mystic Potions and Super Mystics, I initially thought I liked Mystic Potions better that Super Mystics. Having hatched both this year (4 Mystic Potions and 3 Super Mystics), I think I've changed my opinion, and like the Super Mystics better. I took a picture of a Mystic Potion on the left and a Super Mystic on the right.

With both Mystic Potions and Super Mystics, I prefer more side pattern. If you want to see some Mystic Potions and Super Mystics with less side patterns, go to our Facebook page and look at the photo albums for 2014 Clutch 10 and 2014 Clutch 14.

Which do you guys like better, Mystic Potions, or Super Mystics? And do you guys like side pattern or not on your choice?

Super mystic gets my vote too. I'm a fan of busy, funky patterns so when given the choice between less or more - I choose more. :gj:

I like the Mystic Potion. I usually like the lighter brighter colored morphs. It is had to choose between those two they are very cool.

Super mystics are a huge favorite for me. Way better then potions in my opinion. Plus the combos are gnarly too

I love the Mystic Potions! I think they are both stunning. Out of the two in the picture I prefer the Super but normally I can't say no to a Mystic Potion will little to no side pattern. Just my preference :)

So hard to choose they both look great! Super mystic takes it for me, they're one step closer to the pastel super mystic which are outstanding!

Both are amazing, though I do agree seeing a little pattern on the super is just slightly nicer in my book.

What do they look like as adults?

Great photo! I like the Super Mystic for the genetic potential, but as adults I really like the Mystic Potions because of the blushed out sides and contrast.

I can't wait to see more pics they are beautiful. Potion are one of the projects I am working with. I can't wait to produce my first one.

Mystic Potion looks prettier to me, but for breeding plans a super is better.

Hope you guys find some thing to like in these pictures. It is neat to see the variety in each combination. Also, as to the question about how each looks as an adult, I have seen an adult Mystic Potion, and she looked similar to the two, low patterned Mystic Potions that I hatched out, but a little less purple, and a little more grey. I have not seen an adult Super Mystic yet, so I can't say, but I do plan on keeping the two more patterned Super Mystics (the most patterned is a male, and the other is a female), so I can tell you in a little more than a year. Not sure if I am going to keep any of the Mystic Potions (trying to decide what my essential collection is going to be).
