someone here has to have one. im talking about someone who has a BCI that eats rabbits. any pics?
-
eek!!!
couldnt feed my snake rabbits.... *tear*
-
the breeder i got my boa from feeds one of his big 10-11ft females a 4.5-5.0lb rabbit every 3 weeks. thats just scary, lol
-
update: my snake finally pooped...he's GOT to feel better!
eeeeekkkk....I'm gonna have to find super huge rats to feed Storm when she gets that big....no way I'm gonna be able to feed her bunnies....
*shiver*
-
You have to do what you have to do. If he/she is too big for huge rats then you have no choice. I think that it will be interresting
-
You have a choice though. Just feed multiple prey items. :)
-
.
The only reason people switch over to rabbits is because if you can find a good supplier, you can save some money. Basically he'd end up having to feed her 3 collassal rats everytime she eats, or one 4.5-5.0lbs rabbit that he can get for 1/3rd of the cost

ok here is a funny joke abou tthat!
precious little girl walks in to a pet shop and asks in
the sweetest little lisp "Excuthe me mither, where do you keep
widdle wabbits?"
As the shopkeeper’s heart melts, he gets down on his knees, so
he’s on her level, and asks, "Do you want a widdle white wabbit or a
thoft and fuwwy bwack wabbit, or maybe one like that cute widdle bwown
wabbit over there?"
She, in turn, blushes, rocks back on her heels, puts her hands on
her knees, leans forward and says in a quiet voice...
"I don’t fink my pet pyfon weally gives a thit."

PM sent to BallPythonBabe
Bwa ha ha ha
Good one! :lmao:
-
I have a friend that everytime he walks into a petstore he picks up a bunny and says outloud infront of everyone: "Do you want to be food for the boa?" Needless to say it has gotten him removed from a number of petstores in our area.

lol thats hilarious !!! (the little girl story)
i really dont think feeding rabbits is that big of a deal, but if i ever got a boa (which is more like when) i will HAVE to get it on frozen thawed, there is no way i would feed either live or pre killed rabbits, i couldnt kill one of those things !
-
haha i guess i'm just heartless? i dunno, i'm pretty sure i could kill anything to feed a snake....
but i see it as give it live and run the chance of the snake getting hurt, or feeding p/k to ensure the snakes safety. I mean...yea rabbits are cute and cuddly, but if you think about it, a cow or a pig is a pretty cool animal.....and if it came push to shove for my @$$ to eat....i'd kill me a cow or a pig, lolol
-
Hi ,
I feed my boa's Bunny sickles they thaw like a rat look pretty yucky when wet and I haven't even thought about the warm fuzzie part.
Heartless???

I guess if I blow dried the hair and flufffed it up I could see it was a cute little bunny, I get mine DOA from rodent-pro shipped to my door pretty cheap.

-
rodent pro does have some awesome prices
its just in the past i've had so many finicky snakes that wouldn't switch over to drozen thaw, and would constantly go off feed for no reason at all :\
-
nice pic djnzlab...anyone else got some more?
-
do female BCIs even get to rabbits? i heard they dont now but i thought they do?
-
Well, the breeder i got my boa from feeds all of his big breeder females rabbits. Most of his full grown females are around 10ft
-
adult female BCC will eat rabbits, if they are healthy and all that good stuff
how do you pre kill a rabbit?
do you have to use co2, or another form of a gas chamber?
itd be pretty hard to do the whacking theory.
-
I think you have it backwards. Females get bigger than males. So it is more likely that the female will be on rabbits, then a male.

yea i know that. i ment do the larger female BCIs even get to rabbits. my bad
-
My friend just bought a pretty large BCI female from a reptile show, not too long ago. She's about 7 feet long, and just took a large jumbo rat yesterday. Personally I see no reason to feed her anything larger at this time, but if she does decide to get a bit bigger then, maybe. I have heard that if they are just fed on rats, they will not grow extremely huge, but if guinea pigs and rabbits are used, they get larger (of course I am talking about bci, not bcc; those are freakin' monsters!)
