good day!!

So i had a good day today!!! no particular reason, but im in a great mood! how's everyone doin??? anything special going on in your lives??

i get my snake next weekend aaaaaaaaaand my boyfriend might be comin home for 3 days or so... not long but still!!

Spirit week is next week in school... gotta dress all funky and what not. :)

my Homecoming dance is next saturday, but i'm not going... so i guess it's not important. i gotta save up my money for Prom!! (the joys of being a senior in high school, eh??)

so. tell me... we'll start an oober fun thread. tell me whats all fun and stuff in your lives!!!! upcoming cool events, trips, raises (my personal fav:)) anything!!!

Me, My Man, and My Daughter are going to the Florida International Reptile Show on Saturday (as a matter of fact I literally just got my VIP tickets in the mail)....I'm psyched as this will be our first show!!

Then Saturday night we're going to Universal Studios in Orlando for Halloween Horror Nights w/a bunch of friends (the children are staying home, so we get to have some adult time to act like kids!!).

Busy weekend but I'm looking forward to it!!

EDIT: I knew there was something I was forgetting! Tomorrow night I'm going to see a co-worker and her band play and I'm going to have a few cocktails and get silly! Yay!!

home coming is coming and i get out of a couple of classes and I will get to watch the football team witch yet again is unbeaten play a game at home. And in a month I hope to go to the new england herp show (I love my herp shows) so even though that is far away im still excited.

im goin to the reptile show in md at 10/1.its my first show.i hope i get to hold a hogg island boa and a burmese(with the help of someone of course:)

This weekend/week is the Topsfield Fair!! WOO!! Frozen bananas, fried ice cream, and RIDES!!!! :-D I'm goin' Sunday... and again Tuesday night because the Charlie Daniels Band is playing there (HOORAY!!!!!!) Plus my sister and my neice and nephew are coming tonight from NY to visit a few days :-D Aaaannnnd, the following weekend, I'm going to visit my boyfriend in Nova Scotia... haven't seen him in nearly a month! I'm sooooooo excited! :mrgreen: I miss him like crazy... I haven't had anyone to point out old ugly cars with since the summer ended :| oh, and not to mention my art school is awesome and I've been in a super good mood all week :)

Homecoming is in 9 days, but I'm not going since my girlfriend can't go either :-\ and today there were 2 fights at school, and when there's lots of fights it's like chaos in my school.... and a huuuuuuge truck tipped over by the gym when they were redoing the roof... And... hmm.. On the 16th I'm going to help setup the "Eyes Wide Shut" thing in my town. I wish I was goin to a reptile show, but I'm not... and oh yeah, spirit week is also next week for me too. :-P

I'm outta high school no more spirit weeks, Woo! (I was never big on them.. lol) I'm also going to the New England Reptile Expo next month... assuming that's the one in New Hampshire, lol :-D

Not me, very crappy week. My car is totalled, and work was very stressful. I'm hoping the upcoming weekend will cheer me up. Goin out for my brother's birthday, goin to a football game, and probably looking for a new car....

My 21st Birthday is this monday!!!! Gonna get tipsy!!!

My friend also turns 21 next week, we are having a joint party on thursday night. Gonna get a couple kegs and fill the fridge with everclear jello shooters. Should be a good time!!! (gotta love college life...)

I turn 19 in the beginning of January... which means I can drink w/ my b/f in Canada... so needless to say where I'll be during x-mas break :-D If only the age were younger here... sigh...

i have a dance tommorrow at school. fun

last year, i had no life at all (was online all the time) and now this year, i am doing a lot more....

and most of it has to do with church, or community service


(youth group at church, help teach sunday school to younger kids, help read to younger kids, and some others)

and i am like....dedicating everything i can to my friend, jeff (named my snake after him) and im gunna end up getting my other ear lobe pierced for him (and he will be there when i get it done) and i will do something else for him, which i dont know if i can put on this site

and im doing that because hes moving and all, and it like...is really bad


BUT

i get to go visit him for 2-3 weeks the summer after 10th grade (im in ninth grade right now, and hes moving the summer after 9th grade :( )



um....what else is up that i can talk about....



well, my brother lives in boston now to go to school there, and on november 6th, im going on a field trip to quincy market, so me and him are gunna meet up there

Yeah, everyone's fine, I wasn't even in the car, it was parked and someone ran into it. The car didn't look totalled, but since it's a 95 geo metro and worth basically nothing, fixing it is more than the car is worth, so they're totalling it. Time for a new car anyway, and once I have that I'll be happy (in spite of another monthly payment.) Right now it's dealing with the insurance company that is stressing me out. :evil:

I hope it all works out ok gen. I hate when things like that happen. The first car i ever bought ( when i turned 16 ) had that happen to it. Stupid Pepsi truck! I knew there was a reason i liked Coke better ;)

Thanks led. I'm sure it will work out fine. I'll just be glad when it's all over and I'm driving my new car. My geo has been very good to me, but I don't think I'll miss it.

Yesterday for me was rough...my mom is terminally ill and me and my brother are her main caretakers, and we had to take her to the hospital, it sucks knowing that no matter what we do, sometimes she needs to be in the hospital rather than at home where we can provide care. But...enough about that

Today - I Was off work, didn't go to my classes(not like professors take attendance anyways in lecture halls with liek 120 kids, lol), I've had a great day, i've spent most of the day cleaning cages, handling the pets, and cleaning up the house. Theres no particular reason its been a good day, but i'm left feeling good about it. :D
and i'll take a happy day anyday....regaurdless if theres a reason or not

my Prom wont even be that special... my boyfriend will be in Iraq :(

he told me he wouldnt feel comfortable if i went with another guy... so i asked my friend Staci, who's a Junior. bahahaha :)

we're renting a limo and goin to a fancy resturaunt... but hey, i already went to Prom last year when i was a Junior with Mark. sadly to say, Mark had just been getting over Mono (the stupid girl he made out with a month before me gave it to him... @*#*^$) so we couldnt even kiss.

Its kinda funny, back when i was in highschool, it was one of those things i never mentioned, and tried to avoid dealing with. But over the past few years i've come to accept the situation i'm forced to deal with, and also come to the realization that my situation doesn't define me as a person :D

My son has a football game on Sat. and then Sun I will watch my beloved Redskins of the NFL.
Eat like a pig :) and hang out w/ my boys ( my nickname for my bp's )

I hate to break this to you Angela but if your boyfriend truly is deploying to Iraq he is gonna have way worse things to worry about than whether you are going to the prom with some other guy. I was 23 years old when I was in Desert Storm and I clean forgot all about my girlfriend when I was sent over there.....too busy trying not to get killed somehow.....

Yeah, I guess that is a little too harsh I suppose for a young girl...I just remember that when I was in Marine boot I went in all in love with this girl and they just about trampled it right out of me. This was in summer of 1990 and they were getting us ready deploy after boot and Marine infantry training to Iraq and frankly, I was scared #@$%-less and I just completely forgot about my girlfriend what with the intensity of the training and a looming deployment - my mind just went blank on everything that had happened prior to boot. I hate to say it but Angelas boyfriend is gonna have his hands FULL trying to stay alive over in that @!#$-hole of Iraq....bullets, rocket propelled grenades, land mines, ambushes....oh geez....

my boyfriend wasnt even phased by boot camp. hes been in the marines for about 8 months now and hes still the exact same mark. even when he came home from boot camp for libo, he acted the same as he usually does. :)

Mark is a great name isn't it?? When my Mark was in the Army he didn't forget about me at all! I got pages and pages of letters, so don't worry Angela, you will always be on your man's mind!!

yeah, i think that you would have to have not been on his mind much to begin with if he went into the army/marines and just all the sudden forgot about you. the ones you love are always on your mind. :D

Hm.. yesterday was a pretty good day. In fact I had a pretty nice week before that. Went horseback riding with my boyfriend last Thursday (though I blew half my paycheck to do it, you only live once, lol) and got a lot of cool horsey pics that I have to post. Then yesterday we went to my friends' house where she has 20-odd horses and we fed them horsie treats, which they love, and they all gather around you and nudge each other outta the way. There's one horse we want to buy, but it might not be in the cards this year since we are really not prepared at home (need to get a good fence setup first) but I am bummed because if we do not buy her by nov.1, she'll be sold to someone (anyone really, because my friend has no room for her in her stables for the winter, when they have to be stabled to keep weighton them.)
Grrrr! I have wanted a horse all my life, but grew up pretty much broke all the time. Now that I can sort of afford one, the timing is all off. Grrr again. But at least we are all healthy and happy around here.
And I am going to be an aunt! My older married sister is expecting a little girl in December!!

I used to ride when I was young, took lessons in the winter and went to camp at the same farm during the summer. I miss it so much! I rode English and learned dressage. I'm looking into starting Samantha and hopefully someday we will own a couple. I hope it works out for you.

Thanks for the congrats. That'd be awesome for you to start your daughter into horsemanship. I wish I got to do more when I was a kid; I think that kids sometimes have an easier time learning stuff because they have less fear than us adults. :)

Hooray!!!!!!! Today might not be the best day, but it's good day anyway. My refund check from my loan finally arrived. After almost a month fighting with the university and the loan company, my loan came through, got processed, paid my tution and finally they sent me my refund.

Now I can pay the 8 bills! sitting on my desk that have been waiting for the money to come to me.
