Think your boy needs better husbandry.

I know I picked him up from some guy off of craigslist yesterday. He had no water bowl and no humidity or anything.

There was an earlier post about mishandling a large snake, and how the guy shouldn't of owned him. There's lots of people who probably are not suited to owning different types of things. Sorry just had to let that fly. That being, not well cared for normal.

We'll I've done months of research and years of reptile experience. Basking spot around 90, humidity at 60. He's been drinking like a champ, feeding today. Hopefully all goes well with him.

Not a knock on you if you just got him like that.

Yeah I just got him last night. Anything else I should do specifically to make sure he gets back to normal?

Never had an animal with that bad of stuck shed. But when I have one with some I bump the humidity and throw in some crumpled up damp paper towels and news paper, let them work it off.

If kept as Rob suggested he'll work that stuck shed off himself. I would just make sure that his eyecaps and tail tip shed cleanly.

Poor little guy. If he can't get it off in his enclosure put him in a damp pillow case to work it off. Good luck and kudos on the rescue.

I know I felt so bad when I saw him. He's been slowly rubbing up against his hides and everything but I'm going to soak him tomorrow

Give him daily soaks in a half inch of 82 degree water, for a half hour. That should help.
