    New Female - Feeding Shots
I got this 2008 girl in a trade for the hypo I decided to let go and one of his albino siblings. She's patternless, trumbower hypo, het whitesided, het albino, het axanthic. She'll take the year off in quarantine and get fed up good but I'm thinking I want to add hypo to my banana bull project and the extra hets are just bonus. Regardless, she will make some great outcrossing for any of my projects as she's double visual and het everything else in the books.

She got a medium rat first but pulled it to the back of the tub so I didn't get any decent shots. She was relaxed enough to eat the chick in plain view. Well, at least trying to get those legs to fold forward made her inch closer and closer to the camera.

This little hog took down 3 ASFs and 3 chicks last night. She doesn't even bother to separate when she grabs 2 chicks at the same time - just muscles them down simultaneously.

What is the size on her, she is gorgeous.
I am worried I dont feed my pine enough now, she is a 2009 and almost 6ft but only eats a small rat every week or so.

I'm not sure on length and weight. She's in quarantine so doesn't really get messed with at all other than cleaning, watering and feeding. I'll get stats on her sometime next year but generally I just go by the overall look of an animal. I'm offering several smaller sized prey each week because she dropped a clutch before coming to me and is still rebuilding. You should be fine feeding 1 prey item weekly but it really depends on the size of the snake and what you consider a small rat. I'd love to see pics of your pit if you have any.

I need to get some pics of her.She is a patternless het albino. Unfortunately I dont have a mate for her so she hasnt been bred since being with me.
I bought the small rats from Rodentpro they have such a size difference I never know what size Im going to get. Last time my small rats were too small and my mediums were huge.

Beautiful bull and nice pics. I have a yearling albino and a 2014 snow. I'll be so happy when they get as large as yours. The yearling is almost 1000g and eats 1-2 small rats per week. I can't get her to eat chicks though. :)

This girl was in her typical tea kettle mood so figured I'd get a quick video of her cursing up a storm. Ignore the bad lighting, video is meant more to be heard than seen in this case - check out the pictures above to see her actual colors. She doesn't usually bite once I have the tub out but she'll headbutt or, infinitely more annoying, lash her midsection around sending bedding scattering across the floor. She calms down pretty good once I pull her out but she's pretty cranky when I get in her space. I find it oddly endearing though try not to mess with her other than cleaning or feeding time.

Wow, she's a grumpy one aye John? Has she always been so hissy? My 2 bulls will rattle their tails a little if I disturb them and the younger one used to huff and puff but they grew out of it pretty quickly. She's a nice sized girl and sounds pretty intimidating.

Oh yeah, she's perpetually fresh off the wrong side of the bed. I'm positive I could work with her a bit and get her chilled out but I would honestly miss the display.

Depends how much you work with the snake but out of my 7, which are only handled for maintenance, just 2 are hissers. None of mine are biters though, they're just very audible snakes when annoyed. Even my most aggressive hatchlings grew out of biting within the first few months under general maintenance. They only do a bit of tail rattling now when I move them for cleaning.

I'm with you John, usually all they need is a little work. I handle mine a few times a week and they're both really mellow now. The male I have would hiss, strike, and bite in the beginning but now he's putty in my hands. I do love their defensive displays though.

I can see why people would say they are intimidating snakes, she just looks so mean, but so cool at the same time!
