Lol, that reminds me of the children's book, Verdi. Have you read it? It's about a baby green tree python that doesn't want to turn green. (Because the green ones are so old, lazy, and boring.)

No, I haven't read that. It sounds cute though. :)

It's a great children's book by Janell Cannon (who wrote the more well known book Stellaluna). The illustrations are beautiful, and it's a really cute story. I'd say it's a must have for any snake lovers with young kids.

Wish i'd known when I still had kids who read children's books. :)

I don't have kids, but I'm a teacher, so I get to read it now and then.

I'll have to check that one out gen, even if i just read it ;)

thanks for the comments every one I have the book Verdi and the stuffed snake and the finger puppet and Marla "this" particular green tree is about done in the green department and will most likely be a strikingly beautiful High yellow adult

Definitely one of my favorite childrens book....haha.....that sounds so sad....seeing as i'm not a "kid" anymore, lol

Robert, those are absolutely amazing! Not that I don't love the brilliant green that many of them turn or anything, but I just also love the juvie yellows and reds and would love to see those in adults too.
