What kind of thermostats do you all use? Also, are there thermostats that can control multiple UTH's? Thanks in advance.

Re: Thermostat
Herpstats all the way. Vivarium electronics also makes a quality product, I just prefer the herpstat. Both companies make multiple output stats that can independently control multiple heating devices on a single unit.
You can run multiple heat sources off of a single output stat with a power strip or something. For safety reasons this is a little risky, and obviously the heaters need to be identical wattages.
Herpstat several times over. You get what you pay for.

Another herpstat fan here, easy to use and set up. Not the cheapest, but you cant beat the quality.

Herpstat x1000000000 (all users agree lol)
And yes you can control multiple UTH ASLONG as they are all same "wattage" or Size (flexx watt 4"/6"/12"ect) You can connect them to a power bar. and plug that power bar into the slot on Herpstat.
Dont try to do this with a small/med/large Exoterra UTH or 4/6/12" flexxwat as itll give uneven heat either too hot or too cold on them all.

I bought a Helix some years back, still running like a champ - I trust it enough to use it as my incubator thermostat. I'm using VE-200s on my racks now and they seem to work great. I like that Vivarium Electronics have built in safety switches that shut the thermostat off if temperatures reach 6° higher than I have set for the probe.

I have a Helix, several VEs, a couple Zilla 1000s and a couple HydroFarms.
They all work and I have only had problems with one of the Zillas.
Personally The VEs are the way to go.
