    Good Matches for a Mojave
Hey guys, so I'm going to the Lone Star Reptile Show this weekend, and I'm going to pick me up some females for my male mojave. I have space for 5 snakes. So far, I have a mojave male and mystic female(yay for MP) so my plan was:
    -Lesser for BEL
    -Spider/bumblebee
    -Pastel (for enhancement :))
    -GHI/Enchi
-something with fire in it for future super fires
All will be female, and I'm only looking for Co-dom mutations.
Any advice/suggestions as to what would be good with a Mojave?

A gene for BEL, chocolate, and a pewter is what of do because I love all white and dark snakes

Mystic or Super Mystic and Banana are good match as well

add something with pinstripe, jigsaws are really cool.

black pastel is also worth considering.

i would not get a single-gene pastel female. there i would go for a combo that has pastel in it instead. maybe a firefly, or as you mentioned a bee.

I'd go with Pinstripe, a BEL gene, pewter, and a fire combo (firefly maybe). Seconding the 'no single gene pastel' comment. I'd go for a super if you can't pick a combo.

    Vanilla Lesser
    Spinner
    Pewter
    Enchi

None should be insanely pricey and you'll get some cool combos.

You may consider 2-3 snakes with multiple genes instead of buying 5 single gene females. You may pay more per snake but they won't be taking up rack space and you only have to feed 1 instead of 2-3. Think spinner blast or something like that. Black Pastel looks really cool with Mojave; especially in Hypo. Get a lesser for sure. Gotta make BELs!

They don't have to be single genes, I'm just saying these are genes I want. An enchi bamboo would still count as an enchi in my book.

    1. Ghi
    2. Lesser\butter for blue eyed lucys
    3. Dragon fly (pastel fire pinstripe) for a bunch of cool combos

If you have it in your wallet to add a Bamboo Enchi and a GHI female (while still having room left for three more!!!), then you could choose from essentially anything you want - the sky is the limit with those deep pockets. :)

    Here's a good place to start: http://ballpythonbreeder.com/2012/02...thon-breeders/

It sounds like you could use some focus, and that article will give you some direction. It's not the "end-all, be-all" by any means, but it's got a lot of sound advice. I'm mostly curious as to why, with your budget that big, did you start off with a single gene Mojave male as your first BP. Personally, I would have done things a bit differently.

    Best of luck to you!

Because I fell in love with the individual snake, and it was before I decided to start breeding.

Who knows, I may pick up another multi gene male. I'm really looking forward to Mystic Potions and BEL.

I had a feeling this was the case. More than a few of us have been there! :D

The reason why I sold my male jigsaw lol I decided to focus on females then males later. My answer was based on op being completely certain that he wanted to keep the male mojave but the best advice would be to pick up a few females and get a crazy male at a later time.

I'm thinking about a Super Queenbee. That'd take care of three of the things on my wish list.
