New "Stranger" Gene
Looks like IRES reptiles proved their "Stranger" gene :gj:. Now THIS is how you show off a new gene!

Looks like it was also added to WOBP :gj:.

For those who might not be able to see it (should be public...)

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section . Was debating between Morphs and Genetics or Pics :P...

WOW! another game changer! Subtle but powerful! It's absolutely incredible to me the genetic variation on these. Just think, 15 years ago people didn't even know there was a ball python that didn't have the standard look. People talk about the market crashing - I'm not sure that will happen. True that there are more breeders and eggs hatching than ever before, but there are also EXCITING new morphs being proven out every year.

Wow that's an amazing clown combo but I would like to see what it does with the more common simple genes. Let's face it anything clown is awesome but if it's strong enough to work that magic with simple genes like lesser, fire, pastel etc then I would be a lot more impressed and I don't mean that in a hateful way

Hmmm wonder what it would do to a champ

wow, this looks awesome. mind=blown. it almost reminds me of calligraphy. like some kind of ancient writing.
i agree, we need to see what it does to other basic and well-known combos.
about the market: all indicators do say it should collapse, but they do so for quite a while now. i think if there would only be commercial breeders and keepers that keep them as pets, it would have tanked years ago. maybe the hobby breeders that are not really in it for the money, but that have the knowledge about the morphs, are keeping it going. i am worried about the snakes when i hear that normals are in increasing numbers finding their ways to reptile rescues and reptile sanctuaries. many BPs will suffer if the market goes bust, but right now the market is progressing into high-end combos, and what goes bust is the bottom of the market. normal BPs end up in bad situations, and soon many hets and basic single-gene morphs, especially pastels, will join them.

what the actual blank. that's insane! :O
