Bad News

Well its kind of depressing but i may have to sell off all my snakes. I dont want to but i really have no choice right now. it sucks. Not sure why i even put htis post up i guess to vent.

Sucks when your passion gets sold for necessities.. Maybe you can do like us gun guys.. If you have to sell your snakes,I will buy lets say your Dumerils for 100.00 bucks. In 2 years I will sell you back your snake for the exact I bought it for so you can have your baby back. Think of it like a long term pet sitting.

LOl i never thought about that. that could always be a possibilty.

Hope you don't have to. I know you just got some of those babies in February.

i think i will be able to keep one or two of my smaller snakes if im lucky. i def am going to try and keep my childrens python. the rest are more then def have to go.

Is there anything you'd like to discuss, perhaps about why you'll have to sell your collection (as in with laws or regulations or anything not too personal you are interested in sharing, that we may be able to help with)?

It's just my health and being overwelmed with things. I decided since i cant take the best care of everything i have i am going to part with most of my snakes to people who are able to devote more time to them. Its hard to do but with my health being what it is i just really have no choice. like i said i am going to keep maybe 2 or 3 at the most if i am able to, its not only my snakes i am parting with it is also all my tarantulas and im even considering selling my 2 redfoot tortoises

I am so sorry to hear about that. I hope that with your health in transition, it goes as smoothly as possible. My mother is going through a pretty drastic situation right now with regards to health as well; although it is not me, it is close to home. I sympathize with you.

All the best with your current situation, and hopefully a recovery in the near future as well!

I hope your health improves! It's a very good thing that you realize that you will not have the energy to take care of your guys and are looking for a solution, some folks would refuse to rehome and the animals would pay the price down the road. I wish I could give a home to some of your tarantulas but my wimp of a husband would divorce me (kidding, but he reeeeeeeeallly dislikes spiders!). :(

1 P.pederseni
3 or 4 rosehairs
1 H.albostriatum
2 B.vagans
1 OBT
and a few others

Well as of today i will be having to sell my 2 pastel bp's, colombian rainbow boa, cinnamon BP(at least that was what it was sold to me as), and possibly my male dumerills boa( thats a big maybe). i hate doing this but i really have no choice. Its so hard to do and its killing me.

I need a cinnamon I have been eying the one on Bob Clark's website.
