Did some poking around and looks like they go for 600-750 for females...there wasn't much on Kingsnake.com, but I checked a few breeders websites and that's about the range they were all going for...

That seems about right for a female with 2 common genes of that size.

I will add I think its a nice fire pin too. I was thinking "oOo, fire pin" from just the photo before I read what it was being sold as. Fire pins can be subtle but that one really shows off the fire gene.

Well the seller wants to trade it for roughly 900 value of items I have. Thoughts. I dont know what a breeding firepin would be worth later.

If you where look for a firepin I would say go for it. If your just kinda like that a cool snake I would pass basically get something you want.

I'd try to work out a little better of a trade. However, that's a really good looking Firepin though...I guess if you don't really need what you're trading, I'd be tempted. Is it a local trade? Would be even more tempting if shipping wasn't involved.

It's going to depend on what male you put her with, but I'd say that's a nice combo. She is going to be gorgeous as an adult.

Ok so tomorrow I am building a 5-32qt rack. Monday I pick up a spider female (young) and possibly this. This wil be thw beginning of my bp collection. So the firepin technically would be a good investment or I could possibly get a couple more basic bps...

Cooper as a breed sized female, what would she sell for if she was yours.

    And she is local...

What are you gonna trade for her? She would probably be worth more money when she's an adult and you could get a pastel fire male and make some cool morphs with that

Congrats on the growing collection! Nice snakes too, this will be 4? I'd like to see your spider too once you get her. What type of heat are you using with the racks? I've got one right now that's a metal shelf and it's holding 6 41qts and 4 28qts but I use lids and have to remove the tub completely to open them, my heat/cooling system isn't pretty but I have a plan.
