I Effed up...

Went to the Midwest reptile show.... Ended up leaving with 2 snakes and a Crested Gecko... LOL So without further Adue...

Up first... Mojo Male... I won't tell ya prices... Its not right.... But i "stole' him.

Now this girl was sold as a normal... She is really dark and really pretty.

I really like darker normals, and the black scales in her "alien heads" are cool looking. Kind of like a rubbed effect from afar.

Of course I realise this is a common thing with normals, but I've been seeing a lot of cleaner morphs lately so it's abnormal to me at the moment. :P

I was at midwest today too... SO MUCH stuff priced WAY below "normal" prices.
I went to look around and ended up with 3 snakes!!!!!

My husband and I were vending today, I think I saw you! Nice pick ups!

Nice pick ups, I was there today too! I think I saw that mojo, what a looker! I only went for rats, but I could've left with a Cinny het hypo for $100, but couldn't get the money together :'S

Were you in the table in the very back left with all the pictures on the table? I was with my wife and 2 daughters. Most people probably saw my 2 year old daughter with the mojave around her neck LOL. I had a blast... allready reserving hotel and tickets for the show in tinley park!

I am hoping to be there next spring selling hatchlings! I have 2 breeding pairs now so that will be a few babies. Hoping tinley I can get a few more :D. I was amazed on the prices at the show.

Now to get a LESSER!


Also, is it me or does the normal look different. Like she is really really dark.

Yep, that was definitely us! :D We're hoping to go to Tinley this year, too. Not to vend, or anything, I just love going to that show!

In my opinion, the normal looks pretty normal (there's a lot of variation between dark and light in normals) - but she's a pretty girl. :) It can be hard to tell with the lighting in the pics - camera flash can really blow out colors.

Yeah. She actually looks spitting image of a black pastel that is on WOBP, but she is being an anxious snake since I just got her home so she woudlnt' sit still and I just snapped those pictures realy fast. I will get some better ones tomorrow. But she will be paired with the mojo i picked up unless i can get a pastel lesser at tinley :D. The only reason I am suspect of her true genetics is the girl said she had a clutch this year, but she is very skinny. Maybe 700g... If we manage to go to tinley we definatly should get together!

On another note, your art is very pretty! I do digital art too. I have a few WIP here in the creative area of off topic, and i have a ton of acrylic paintings in my basement.

Oh i forgot to add... We did have an unfortunate mishap. When we left we walked a good bit back to our car. It was so hot by the time we got back to the car our crested gecko perished. Luckly for us the kind folks replaced him for us. There was so many awesome people there!

That being said there was a few "Stand offish" people. I am one of those people if you are going to be rude you don't get my money! lol That is really why we got the crested gecko from them!
