Yeah I agree on the lamp I'm having some money issues and then I'll buy UTH for all my snakes and change the bulbs to cool lights. And it's not rodents I feed f/t so unless they're zombies they won't bite ahaha. But thank you.

You need a UTH for belly heat for the snakes proper digestion which needs to be controled by a thermostat so it does not got too hot and you can set the temp to a steady 90 degrees. If you just plug in a UTH your snake will get belly burns. If your house is below 78 degrees you NEED another source of heat. What wattage bulb are you using? Color of the bulb? Invest in a lower wattage 50-75 watt red heat bulb and buy a lamp dimmer switch from a hardware store so you can control the output of the lamp. How are you measuring your temps? Pictures of the enclosure would help.

My house is usually higher in degrees around 80 or higher i have a fan to keep it around 75-90 but for sure I'll look into getting UTH thanks for the tip of dimmer.

My humidity is always at 55-99 never below temps around 75-90

I'll be switching to the heat pads because my room is usually hot except for the night it drops to 60-70

If your room drops that low you still need another source of heat. If it drops below 78 in your house at all you need heat from above to warm the air which the UTH will not.

I'll keep a regular light not heat and the UTH and then at night I'll use heat bulb and UTH ? That way temps stay 70-85
