I have been dying waiting for these babies for forever it seems! My first clutch ever, we did a who's your daddy and it looks like my Blonde Pastel Lesser won! Yesterday was day 56, and we came home to 2 pippers! So we went ahead and cut the rest. I'll verify once they all come out, but from what I can see, I've got 3 killer bees, 2 bumblebees, and 1 pastel. I'm so stinking excited! And the first one out of the egg, it's definitely Melman's child, lol. It was one of the pippers, and wasted no time coming out. It was out of the egg before I went to bed.

Babies!!!! Any more come out of the egg yet?

WooHooo!!! I'm so happy for you DooLittle!! Your time flew by! It feels like yesterday she just laid her eggs and now the babies are already hatching! Oh they are so perfect & beautiful just like mama & dad. Hope some of the little ones have some lesser mixed in! Can't wait to see the other babies! Will you be holding any of these babies back?

Thanks! And yes mam! I'll be keeping one kb regardless of sex, but hoping for a female. And if the one bumblebee is female and as nice as mom, I'll hang on to that too. My daughter wants to keep two kb's, lol. So far I don't see any lesser. Which is fine, because next season I'll get my fill of that going for BEL's. :)

They never move out fast enough, and staring at them does not make them come out quicker either :P.

Now, I think I have to retract my earlier guesses on a couple of the others. This one I hadn't seen it's head, and thought it was a bumblebee. Now seeing the head and face, I'm thinking it may be a queen bee.

Haha, thanks. I'm leaning towards that too. I've been on WOBP all day. Lol. Hope it's out of the egg when I get home! Most people I have asked for opinions are leaning that way too. But they have to come out and shed!

Agh the suspense is killing me! Idk how I'm going to deal with this when I start breeding. Lol I seriously might just die of anticipation.

I think the "Killer Queen" is thinking "The world is not ready for me and all of my awesome glory, I will emerge when I feel the world can handle my greatness *slowly retreats back into egg* lol. Hopefully the "Queen" will come out soon. I love when they look like they are looking into their siblings eggs haha. It's like "Hey whatcha doing in there? Ya sleepin? When are you gunna come out? I'll come out if you come out." How cool would it be if they had these kinds of telepathic conversations amongst themselves haha...well I think the anticipation has made me go insane...look what you did to me DooLittle! 😁

My personal experience is that if there are any normals in the clutch, they will be the first out. And the one you REALLY want to see will be the last...:rage:

Man, you guys don't mess around. I guess that's one good thing about prices dropping! The first clutch I ever hatched was from a male Spider I paid $1k for and a normal female I paid around $300 for. My how times have changed! :O
