    Let's see your cars!
Well I couldn't find this thread. But if it's around feel free to scold me on my bad searching behavior :D However, I'll start. Here is my 09 F150, my baby, and my never ending project http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/26/vevy2eve.jpg

62 Ferrari GTO replica, donar car is a 74 datsun. sbc and trans dropped in it. I actually haven't done much since that thread sadly (double het clown/hypo project has taken most of my fun money), but right now I got the interior torn apart, rewiring and simplifying the electrical has been my project this weekend. Waiting on gauges, fuse box, flashers, switches (gonna be push start, with toggle switch lock), and spedo sendning unit to come in the mail. Next project should be brakes or a new radiator. After that, shes gonna get a whole new drive train.

07 Mustang, bought her the day before I graduated High School back in 2008. Actually it'll be six years tomorrow. Bought her on memorial day.

That should be a hoot once it's done. What do you have planned for the engine & trans?

short stroke, big bore, I wanna be reving over 10k (it's a ferrari right?). high compression, run e85 (cheap race fuel!). Use as many off the shelf parts to keep the cost low as possible. Still have much to look into, like if there are off the shelf heads that can do what I need and I haven't even thought about the trans, but i figure im at least a year and a half out before I will be seriously purchasing anything. That is unless these reptiles give me a bunch of fun money. I will also most likely be having to build some sort of tube frame to keep it together, but my car don't like to stop right now and I have overheating issues sometimes with the motor in it now, I need to get them sorted out before I think about going fast. I'm in a parade with the car for memorial day, time to see how the cooling system holds up this year, but a fancy aluminium radiator with a few electric fans is in the near future.

Nice! I used to have an FJ also...only mods were a slight lift in the front to level it out and some decent tires. Loved that truck and miss it greatly...:tears:

They're pretty capable in stock form with decent tires...yours must be a beast off-road...

Any plans for a solid axle conversion? :D

Haha ya I run it in the desert and the only think limiting me is not enough travel...the fastest i have taken it across Oco is 65MPH whoops and drifting it through the corners...but that gets a little scary because i hit my bump stops quite a bit. But it is a beast out there...my plans for this FJ are a full cage and long travel suspension, racing seats almost yet another complete makeover for high speed running...I was initially thinking a SAS conversion, but i think id rather get an old FJ 40 and build that into a crawler.

This is my 09 GT/CS. I'll have to snag some pics of my 67 Cougar project when I get to the garage. It's not moving along quite as fast as I would have hoped for but I do what I can when I get the free time.

You guys got some great looking cars.

I don't actually have this car anymore, sadly. :( I felt like sharing though. She was my baby and I learned so much working on her. I got her for $500 on CL and she took care of me for a couple years. A 1985 BMW E30 325e. Of all the cars I've own, this one was the most fun to drive (and had the best gas mileage!). I'm hoping to be able to get another one soon and restore it. I got the engine running well in the old girl, but I never got around to cleaning up the rust on the body and undercarriage. *sigh* one day. I miss driving a manual transmission. I have an accord now and its such a boring car to drive.

Probably the most interesting car I've ever owned was my 1985 Pontiac Fiero. Fun little car, but everything on it was stock (from '85) and one day it kept stalling. Found out 5 of my 6 fuel injectors had blown, and when we tried to work on it the hosing crumbled like dust. :tears: I was broke as all get-out at the time and couldn't afford those and the other repairs lining up so I sold it to a nice guy who wanted a fixer-upper "weekend driver" car.
The only pictures I have are ones that are from when it was covered in road salt. :(

isnt it fun owning cars and working on them?

I spent countless hours tooling on my SRT with stuff to aways try and get a little more boost out of it. Oh how i miss my car days.
