My 'dream ball'....FINALLY got me a Pied! A Pastel Pied at that!

Awesome addition! I cannot wait to start producing pieds myself. So excited. I can tell now I'm going to have a huge problem selling any that I produce. Lol. Very very pretty

Gorgeous pied, i love em! low/high/med white w.e it may be, got a few myself! But with that im unsure if it is a "Pastel" Pied, it just looks normal are you sure its not Pied Het Pastel?

That is a pastel pied, the lighter coloring and green eyes are two ways to tell. And there is no such thing as a "het pastel".

Anyways, great looking pied!

I don't see much in the way of Pastel going on either. It's not any lighter than most of the straight Pieds you see. There may be more yellow creeping down his sides, but it's hard to tell from that pic. Definitely not het pastel though...:)

@jkobylka is the man at ID'ing Pastel Pieds...

Sorry i was being blunt, and joking but didnt hint my sarcasm :rolleyes:, I know alot of people get sold "weird things" that dont exist, But im 100% sure that is not a pastel pied, and as for its eyes you barley can see them, Google image Pastel Pied and you will see that is not... As i said REGARDLESS you give me a pied ill keep it they are hands down the best morph out there IMO i hate letting for of my lil guys and gals when they hatch out with that gorgeous white blotching

I will get better photos of him this afternoon and share them here. He is indeed a pastel pied. He came from a very reputable breeder. That specific photo makes it hard to tell. He did darken/brown out as he aged. Oh, and just because you google something, doesn't make it true. ;)

Very nice the new pics show the color much better. I saw someone commented about pastel pieds having green eyes, is it possible to have one with black eyes?
