Haha sorry guys I had to be out of town all day that day and only got a chance to snap the one pic. It was set up 27 tubs with paper, mist, water, tub the little boogers, dress my wounds lol, and hurry out the door. But I came home with 55 Huge jumbo rats so can't complain. One weeks worth of feeding lol.
I will get them all out during this weekend or maybe after work when I have time and get a nice pic of some of them. Taking care of 67 snakes is time consuming lol! Especially the retics that are bound and determined to make me shovel poop 24/7 haha.

Re: New Litter!
Only about 10 which isn't that bad. Surprisingly well tempered for baby yellows lol

Re: New Litter!
Haha ya. But my big girl so so chill. I can hold a rat around the body and just put it in front of her and she will gently take it from me. My good friend has a green that is just like that.
People hate on anacondas and say they are dumb, but in reality my anacondas are right on par with my smartest retics.
My big girl is in the 12-13' range easily and about 40lbs when she's not breeding and off feed, and she has never bit me.

Re: New Litter!
Actually my adult male is chill as can be too. I've even used him to spread the word at public events etc about debunking some myths. The dude is so chill he will literally hang out on you for hours without stressing or anything. Yellows really are pretty misunderstood in my experience. Babies will happily light you up if given the chance but a little bit of work with them and they mellow down nicely.

Re: New Litter!
Sorry sorry been busy with some projects and non stop feeding and poo cleaning lol.
Just finished building a new hatchling rack for them so I'll get them transfered over, numbered, recorded and if they aren't blue anymore I'll get some fresh skin pics lol

Awesome km looking forward to it. I freaking love yellows. If I could find a breeder in Ohio I would scoop one up ASAP.

Re: New Litter!
Don't worry guys I haven't forgot about pictures, I just haven't got to them yet lol. They all took their first meal last night, and shed 2 days ago. Still up cleaning enclosures and tubs. Didn't get to it on the weekend. 67 snakes make 67 messy cages and the retics are keeping me extra busy cleaning cages twice about 30mins apart lol.

Cute little dude! I know nothing about anacondas other than they are realllllly big, but it sounds like with a bit of work they are gentle giants. I learn tons from this site! BTW, I love your ID, sounds like it is fitting if you have over 60 snakes and it takes 50 plus rats per week to keep the troops in food! :D

yellow anacondas(the babies' species) aren't really that big. they're more the size of a large boa constrictor, just a little bigger. green Annies are the giant ones.

:DI love how you call them "annies" makes them sound super cute!;) Those big guys are extreamly interesting, I'm really loving learning all about the different types of pet snakes even though it's highly doubtful I will ever actually own one.

most anaconda owners shorten it to annies. I like learning about them ask too! I don't think I'd ever want a green anaconda but I definitely want a yellow one day.
