:D :D Crawling around in the bathroom lastnight was the snakey that had vanished without a trace for four months! I was so delighted I could hardly believe it! I thought one of my other snakes had escaped and when that did not turn out to be the case, I look at the pattern! It is poor little Hissy Fits! :D :D :tears: I'm sooo happy! She is dehydrated and has lost a lot of her weight, but that will be rectified soon!

Put her in a shallow, lukewarm soak for at least a day - it will help with the dehydration problem.

That's fabulous, Raj! I don't think I've ever heard of one being lost for that long and then being okay when found. You won the snake lottery or something! I am so happy for you.

YAY MARLA!!! She is bony as anything, but a few rats down that throat will fix all of that. I could not believe my eyes! I mean, I tossed the whole apartment outside and searched for months! And as I finally stopped thinking of her, voila. You could have knocked me down with a feather! I feel like singing, except I can't sing to save my life

    Stressing question....
Go slowly with her, Raj. You might want to start her on mice and ramp her up to rats to make sure she does okay with starting to eat again. Still, I am so psyched for you. The longest I had one go missing and show up okay after was two months, and I was excited and amazed at that, so i have an idea how you must be feeling. :)

    sooner than expected
She kinda looks too big for a mousie, perhaps a small "small" rat?

    Marla
That might work, too. I just wouldn't want to overload her system right now.

Thanks guys :D Gosh I'm still on cloud nine. I took Marlas advise and fed her a full sized mouse(dead of course). She took it down no problems at all. She is the only one of my snakes that doesn't need the mouse dance in order to eat :o I just lay the thing in front of her with the nose pointing towards the mouth and she does the rest no probls! Gone for four months, and she sucked that mouse in faster than my full grown adults could  I will not be feeding her again till next week though, do not wanna shock her system.
