    Yellow Belly?
Hard to tell on this nasty hatchling with an attitude, but thought I'd ask. I think I was bitten at least 6 times easy.

Parents were YB Het Pied x Het Pied

Judging from those pictures I am inclined to say it is a yellowbelly, but I am far from an expert at identifying them!

I don't know...... I am inclined to say it's not a YB. I don't see any of the flecking or flames common on YB bellies.

i mean no ofense, but perhaps you did not see the second pic?

maybe the flames are less than the ideal, but the clear belly with speckling on the edges is definitely there. i'd say 95% it's a YB, leaving the other 5% to chance that it's a normal that has YB traits....this is based on what i understand of the YB, which could be wrong, in which case i could be in trouble because i invested a lot in what i thought are YB animals.....

That makes things harder. Could easily be a normal with het pied markers.

Just based on the head marker, funky shaped alien heads, minimal flames and subtle belly tracks I'll guess low expression YB. Cute, but not a YB I would buy if it's for sure a YB.

Definitely YB. The Het Pied may be muddying things a bit but everything else, flames, belly, headstamp, says YB. I bet when you compare it to a normal sibling it looks slightly brighter and more yellow, yes?

Congrats. Nice looking clutch. The third one down looks to be YB as well. Do you have belly pics of it?

The third one down was without question a YB. No belly pics sorry. His head stamp and blushing is awesome, and my friend now has him since it was a joint project.

Wow! He's a looker. Love the way his pattern reduces the further back from the head you get.

I think this is more along the lines of what Angllady2 was referring to when she mentioned the lack of flecking...

Pretty big difference than what you see in the OP's snake. The flames and headspot are good signs, and it could very well be a Yellowbelly, but the belly pic the OP posted is not very convincing on it's own...
