Epic photo bomb! Pic heavy

Had Epic out for some pictures a few days ago, when we had gorgeous weather. He didn't want to hold still. Apparently he's unaware he's a Green Tree Python and didn't want to just sit there perched for photos. He wanted to be on us. But the natural light outdoors really shows off his colors good. So I took a ton of pictures. Some are similar, however I liked each picture, so posting them all. Everybody likes pictures, right? :p

Wow! Your pics make me want a GTP so badly lol. I'm sure that if I got one, however, he/she wouldn't be nearly as sociable as yours. His blue pops so much! Great pics also btw. :)

Love the blue stripes. Great shots! Makes me want to get my camera out (and get a GTP).

What?! You haven't seen him? I've had him for over a year. You should check out his thread, "Epic's Journey". It starts with when I got him and goes all the way through his color change. I should actually throw a few of these pics there to keep it current.

I love seeing pictures of him! His new(er) colors are so pretty!

Seeing these definitely makes me want to go out and get one too! Epic is gorgeous! That blue is so pretty and blue is my favorite color. What kind of camera do you use?? Because your pictures are always so perfect!! I love Epic he is so stinkin cute! That lil tail is adorable

Thanks! You should! ;) Canon Rebel t3i in auto mode. I still haven't had time to learn my cameras full potential. Some of these were shot with a macro lens.

Thank you! Lol, my daughter picked out "Wilbur" a few years ago. We are actually on our second one, because the first got his ear broke. :( He makes a great snake prop. Except most of mine are getting to big for him now.

Nope I have been so BC oriented that I haven't visited here much, and now I'm actually sniffing around for a possible SD retic or some type of carpet so I've been snooping around a bit more. Plus I saw it was a post of your's with photos.

I have seen the "Power Pig" prop however!! I think it is still one of the all time best, and one of the more unexpected types of reptile props in use LOL!

If you don't mind me asking, which macro lens do you use? I've been looking into getting one, and your pictures are amazing! And I don't know if you've already said in Epic's thread, but have you found out if Epic is actually male?

I'll have to look at it when I get home. It's bottom of the line for what's available, but was still like $300-$400. There are lots of nicer ones. Epic is unsexed, I have no clue, lol. And I have no plans to probe "him". Once he gets bigger, I've seen GTP'S shed plugs with their shed. So we may be able to find out that way. If he's a girl, he doesn't seem to mind being called a boy, rofl. :p

Okay, thanks! I've looked at a few, but the number of different lenses available is kind of overwhelming, and I haven't decided how much I'm willing to spend yet :) And yeah, I knew you had said that he was too young to be sexed when you got him, and figured you may have found out and I missed it. And I can't imagine that he'd care what you called him :D

Wow!! Stunning snake and stunning photography. Would also be interested in learning what lens you're using, although I know talent plays a part, too :)

I do like it, it does take great pictures. However, if I was made of money, I'd like to have a nicer one, that would allow me even more close up detail.
