Updated pictures! 😊 (Pic Heavy Warning)

Hello everyone, I thought I'd give a quick update on a new addition and on my bumblebee Bubo. I hope you guys enjoy these pics. I'm a wannabe photographer so I apologize if some of them are out of focus or janky lol. I'll start with the new addition and when I first unboxed her.

Here she is 😃 my little Yellow Belly girl Sheik! She's as beautiful as can be imo. I got her at the beginning of the month and took some new pics today that are much better. I didn't take many when I took her out so she wouldn't be stressed.

Here she is chowing down. She is the greediest little snake ever! Always hungry. I hope she stays this way forever!

After she finished eating I was putting her water bowl back when he back was turned and she came around and tagged me. First bite I've ever gotten to actually draw blood.

I kept her little photo shoot short and sweet. Just had to get some pics in natural light to really bring out her colors and flames 😊 hope you guys like her. I'll be posting pics of my bumble bee as well. He's growing up so he's beginning to brown but he's still as handsome as can be to me.

These are super cute, I was switching positions and my shadow scared him so he balled up but once he knew things were okay he came back out to explore.

Thanks DooLittle :) that's what sold me on him I couldn't resist those white sides! And I can't wait to do an update on Sheik on her birthday September 8, she's going to be even more chunky than she is now if she keeps up this ravenous appetite lol.

Omg Greengirl you are my new best friend! So glad you got my name references! Yes Bubo is the name from the owl in the Clash of the Titans movie, my parents and I would watch the old original movie all the time and I loved the name Bubo so much and I vowed that whenever I got a male pet his name would be Bubo so here he is today 😊 and I am a serious gamer girl! I named her Sheik from the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and from Super Smash bros Melee & Brawl. I'm going to try and name all my girls after character in video games that I like and maybe the boys after some of my favorite movie/tv show characters.

I totally agree with MarkS, excellent choice. I'm very partial to Bumblebees...Bubo is a gorgeous fellow! As for your new girl, I like how you built up the suspense with the unpackaging. She's beautiful.

Okay so I'm trying to enter the picture in the contest, I tried on my MacBook but when I click submit my screen just goes white so it doesn't go through tried that a couple times got the same result. Then tried on my iPhone and it said I'm "Missing a Security Token" and I have no idea what that means lol. So how do I enter the picture? Haha I'm not as tech savy as I used to be. ☺️

Thanks so much :) can't wait to update again when they are all grown up. I'll be weighing Sheik at the end of the month so in a couple days and I'll update again. She's such a little piggy can't wait to see how much she has gained. She hasn't missed a meal yet 😊

Look in the kitchen department at Wal-Mart. They have them from $10 to around $35. I bought one for $35 that weighs up to 8000 grams and has a tare feature. I would suggest making sure it has the tare on it.

I got my scale on ebay for about 6.00 and free shipping. It doesn't DO anything more than weights but it works.

Haha they got to you before I could, I got my scale from Walmart too.
