    Tub & Tank Cleaning
Just wondering what folks recommend for cleaning out their tubs and/or tanks, and what to avoid that could be harmful to the snake (reptile specific products, soap & water, etc.)?

Really. Why even bother responding if you don't have anything helpful to say.

You ask a question and then don't like the answer??
    FYI X3 on the F10
I have an idea that you have no clue what F10 is: Reptile Basics F10

F10 is a specific cleaning product. Very helpful reply. I personally use Chlorhexidine solution.

Before jumping the gun and answering the way you did you might want to ask questions first

F10 is not an insult nor is it being rude

My mistake and apologies to King James. F10 can also be used as an insult implying you are asking a stupid question. Because his response had so little detail I did jump to conclusions. Had F10 come wth all of the details provided in later posts, the context would have let me know it was an actual cleaning product.

I use F10 from Reptile Basics too. A little teeny bit goes a long way; mine is diluted to specifications and in a spray bottle. I filled up my first bottle about a month and a half ago, and it's still nearly full with plenty of the concentrate left as well.

So I noticed that F10 has both a disinfectant and a cleaner/sanitizer - does everyone use both or one over the other?

I use it for a disinfectant.

Personally I use dish washing soap to clean and Chlorhexidine for disinfecting. I also soak waterbowls in a bleach solution

Wow I'm going a different route, I use vinegar solution, I'm not fond of using chemicals around my animals! That's only if the tubs really need it. Most of the time I use soap water solution.

I wanted very much to try F10, but Reptile Basics will not ship it to CA.

Thank you all for the informative responses! So great to be part of such a helpful online community! :D

Final questions: is Reptile Basics the only vendor for F10 products? If so, how quickly do they usually restock? (they seem to be sold out of every size of the disinfectant).
