    Vanilla cream price
Exactly as the title says, what's the going price for a female vanilla cream now? I don't see many of them. Thanks!

Also if any of you have one, it'd be awesome to see pictures! :)

Based on a quick survey of Fauna and Kingsnake, it's all over the map for females: $600 - $1250 depending on age/size and breeder. Also, as you said, there aren't many available right now. I looked back as far as December. Males can be picked up for $500 or under.

Ben Siegel Reptiles often has them on auction, where they go for much less.

I just bought a vanilla cream female from an expo last month. His asking price was $700 and she's a little over 200 grams. I have a thread with a couple other pics too

I would agree that for a female the asking price will be around 800-1000 online, a bit less at a show (with cash in hand).

We have seen the price lower a bit across the board on animals that are Supers or act like a Super. I think folks are starting to prize the ability of non-allelic 2 gene animals to pass BOTH genes to the offspring over the no making a normal from a Super, also people have gone nuts producing some of them (Potions, Creams, BELs). There are a handful of exceptions to this, but overall, I am seeing Supers slip a little in market.

Thank you all for your input iv seen them at so many different prices I just didn't know what the standard really was.

I also have one more question about the genetics of them. Playing around on the genetic calculator, a vanilla cream bred to say a pastel will not produce a pastel vanilla fire? But a pastel fire or pastel vanilla bred to a vanilla cream will... Can someone please explain that for me.

Vanilla and Fire sit on the same allele. A Vanilla Cream cannot give up both genes, so it cannot reproduce itself. All babies will have either Vanilla or Fire, but not both (also there wil be no Normals in the clutch).

Royal Hijinx is right. half of the offspring gets the fire gene, the other half of the offspring gets the vanilla gene. just like any fair mother would do it, one present for each of them.

and if you want to produce more vanilla creams, you need to breed a male to it that has either vanilla or fire in it. for example, if you breed a fire to it, you have a chance to get super fire, vanilla cream, fire, and vanilla.

oh okay thank you i understand now, so since it can only pass 1 of the genes along you need to breed either a fire or vanilla back to her to get both genes to show in the offspring

Thought I would chime in with my 2013 female Vanilla Cream. Paid $500 for her shipped. I have a super fly male to pair up with her. Should be cool with some pastel black eyed leucisitc, Vanilla Scream, Firefly and pastel vanilla's. Vanilla Cream is IMO one of the coolest morphs to have.
