In my opinion number 1 has a better golden color but number 2 has a nicer banded pattern. I tend to like lighter animals so I'd go with 1

I like the banding on number two. Neither are really great photos and I believe that the first one looks more gold because the second appears to have it's picture taken in the shade. To me enchis are all about the banding and gold. The first one looks more like a clown to me.

I like the looks of the first one better, but I think the 2nd is more of what people expect in enchis. Tough to decide.

1st one but maybe a better pic of the 2nd is required before you make a decision

Ask the seller for a picture of the two boys TOGETHER then decide. If number 1 is really that much brighter go with him. If they are the same color in the photo together then go with boy 2.

Re: Need opinion on these enchi's
I'd get the first one for any projects with Clown or morphs that might benefit from the blushing. I can't say for sure the lighting or age won't affect the colour so the seemingly brighter yellow in the first may be misleading.
The second looks like a good candidate for projects that could benefit from banding.

Nothing guarantees any of that will hold true though. But, we are just starting to nail down reguis genetics and there is never anything wrong with simple "selective breeding" that may or maynot take advantage of as yet unidentified polygenetic factors.

Honestly, I would not be unhappy to open a box and find either of those as new residents of my home.

#2 is a great example. Good color, nice banded pattern, and from what the pic shows not many spots.

I think you should get the second one so I can get the first one. Not even interested in the brightness that pattern is awesome!

100% serious. If you go with the second let me know please. :-P

    Good picks either way though.

I like the first one...but the pics should utilize the same type of light if you're going to have an apples to apples comparison IMHO. Too bad you can't see them in person!

Re: Need opinion on these enchi's
You can't always go by the look of an enchi. One may look nicer than the other, but when you pair both of them with another morph, the other may produce a better result. A good example would be the albino enchi. Many look like crap, while some are very high peach and yellow! You can compare the ones on WOB to one of last years hatchlings.
