    Worrysome weight lose?
Hey. I have a BP that has been off feed for about a month maybe more. So far he has lost about 100 g (I'll have to recheck)

What would you consider a worry some weight lose?

How much did she weigh to start with?

Losing 100g in one month I would be worried myself. How old is he? How are his living conditions? What is his current weight?

If your snake was 300 grams and has lost 100, I would worry!!
If you have an adult that weighs 1500 + I would not worry.

When I first got him we weighed 1130g

I was a little off with my numbers so I just weighed him. He weighs 1063g

I got him Feb 8 and has not eaten since

Yep, I agree with Roach. As a rule of thumb... As long as he is still roundish without being able to plainly see his backbone while laying down he is fine.
Don't try to feed him everyday. You could be causing more stress. Don't handle or disturb him any more than you have to. Just keep fresh water and do minor cleanup. Try feeding once every 7th day and he will eat when he is comfortable.
Force feeding is a last resort and should be done by an experienced person.

Most likely he wasn't completely empty when you weighed him the first time.

I have a male that finally broke his fast last weekend, his last meal before that was October 8, 2013.

A few weeks before eating he pooped for the first time since last year. Yes, he digested that last meal (or few meals) from last fall over the course of several months.

Yours has been fasting for about two months and has lost 65 grams. I wouldn't worry yet.

This is a picture of him. Dont mind the tail. The prevouis owner said he got him as a rescue and he had a tail accident before.

Does he look skinny? He has sorta a weird shape.

It's a little hard to tell from that picture but on the left of the picture where he's bending... That seems to be a pretty noticeable spine to me... Correct me if im wrong. How long have you had him? It looks like he's been under fed for awhile..

He has a very weird body to me. Its like curves in weird ways sometimes. I think its from the accident he had with one of his previous owners.

He doesn't look skinny to me, just empty. My normal guy has probably lost 100g too, he was around 1050g and now he's around 950g, but I honestly think most of the weight loss was just the clearing out of the digestive tract. He has been off food since early February and hasn't really been pooping at all in the last month and his weight has remained stable since then. I'm not worried, I'm just offering weekly and hoping his appetite returns soon.

Something is odd with your guy's tail though.

The guy I got him from said he was a rescue. He had mites and supposedly someone closed a door on his tail and it got deformed. He has a bad temper but I don't blame him.
