Waiting game

So now its just a waiting game… Katana is due to lay her eggs at any moment. 30 days was actually yesterday so now I get to sit here and wait and hope that she lays her eggs today or tomorrow since I have the next 2 days off work haha. She is getting really restless and you can see it starting to bulge more down by her vent.

Thank you!! She's my very first snake I ever got so she has a very special place in my heart. She was bred to my pinstripe who is another one of my favorite snakes

She's still holding out. I gave her a pep talk last night haha saying that as soon as she gets those eggs out then she will be able to eat. Haha she just looked at me like ok!!! Then nothing haha gotta love them

Right, she's only on day 33 now so I'm hoping that she will not wait that long

On day 35 now… and Katana is still holding out… I hate this waiting game haha

I'm right with you. I have one on day 34, still waiting. Mine doesn't even have that bulge near her cloaca, nor she seems to be particularly restless yet. She spends most of the time half coiled with her neck pressing over the end of her tail.

I hope that u get some eggs here soon to! Whenever I bred Katana before she was like right on time with everything, exactly 2 weeks after ovulation she shed and exactly 30 days after she laid her eggs. This time she doesn't want to follow the rules!

This is quite a coincidence. I noticed a new post of yours that Katana finally laid on day 40. I was following this thread closely, because mine was a day behind and was clinging on to yours for hope :)
Well, she finally laid on day 40 as well!
5 eggs, all fertile.
Took a while, but I'm so happy right now. Now the real wait begins...

Hahaha that actually is pretty cool. Now let's see how close they are to each other when they decide to hatch. What was ur pairing?

Lesser to Mojave. It's my first time breeding, so I'm pretty excited.
