He has pretty chocolate colored webbing compared to the usual black, soft golds and bright eyes. Bet he would make some pretty babies

He seems to be lacking a lot of yellow, so I am going to think outside of the box and say axanthic spider?

the first thing i came up with, just by looking at the picture, and before looking at the comments, is also fire spider.

He is actually the founding animal of a "dinker" project, next year he will be seeing his daughter which also has the gene, see what the super makes hopefully. I originally thought fire when I saw him, but as babies they really don't look like a baby fire at all, but develop the color over time. I even have a clutch mate that as a baby I swear looked exactly like her sister, but never developed the color, but the sister did. We are kinda hoping for it to be something new but, it could very well be a low quality version of an existing gene. I'm hoping my vanilla can put on a little more weight and see if she can hook up with him this year, see if it looks like it is in the same complex at least.

Just curious if anyone had any other ideas to throw in our heads and for us to look for.

Do you have any pictures of the hatchlings? Just so we can get an idea of the color change they go through

my camera skills weren't the best back then and the pics don't really give you a good representation.
