Ordering Frozen Rats/Mice
I just got a new bp(Valdr) and the breeder said that he had been feeding Valdr rat pups; however, neither the local pet store or the Petco that is an hour away carry anything more than mice and adult rats. The breeder picked out frozen mice that he thinks are the right size, however he told me that it would be better to feed rats and everything else that I have read confirms that. So, it seems that if I want to feed rat pups, than I need order them online.
Anybody know any good websites for ordering frozen rats?
:confusd:

^^^ I agree 100%. Just got some rats in from big cheese rodents and everything came quickly. Ordered Monday, shipped out Tuesday and arrive at my house on Thursday. They vacuum seal their rodents so they stay nice and fresh and also when you order they hand pick the rodents, euthanize them, and freeze them right then for your specific order so they are as fresh as they get. They're not just sitting in a freezer for god knows how long until you order them. I highly recommend them :) and I've ordered from rodent pro before and their customer service is great but the quality if their rodents can be questionable at times. Many people have had great experiences with them and some have had horrible ones.

You also might want to see if there are any reptile shows near you coming up. Shows usually have rat breeders vending, so you can get a good bulk of food for a great price. Feeders online isnt super practical for a single snake because the shipping cost can be quite high

Re: Ordering Frozen Rats/Mice
I just ordered 50 Medium 50 Large and 50 XXL large rats from RodentPro. Hope they are good quality lol. Anyhow the point is they are having a March Madness sale right now and a lot of their feeders are on sale plus $30/box flat rate shipping. My order only came to $250 including shipping on some pretty good sized rats.

Ya unfortunately that 150 rat order should only last me about 4 weeks.

No one near me sells fuzzy rats and I am having to use adult mice for now. I love in North East Georgia near Athens, so if anyone knows of someone close, PLEASE let me know.
Repticon will be here in a couple of weeks so if I can make it until then I will stock up!
I guess another solution would be to but more snakes and order larger quantities of rats to help offset the shipping cost!! LOL!!

Search for local/state-specific reptile forums on Facebook. People who breed and sell feeders advertise there. My local guy sells rats live or f/t vacuum-sealed in packs of anywhere from 3-10 feeders, depending on size.
