Need opinion which male to keep
I had a 2013 male bumble bee that i post earlier in the other thread...now i got a very great deal on a 2013 male clown from a breeder friend.
i would love to keep them both but unfortunately i have no more budget to spend so i have to choose one of them :(.Which one do you people think i should choose?
For consideration the clown's price is at the same price i can sell my bumblebee.

If you can get a nice male clown for the same price as your bee I would jump on it.

I'd say 500 for a male clown and 200 possibly less for a male bee.

i got the male clown for 475 and i can sell the bee around 450 - 475.In here a male bee price is around 350-450, the lowest are 750 for male clowns (importers price).

If the clown is nice I would go for it.

There is a difference in price Bumblebee are much cheaper then clowns, as for clown it depends on the quality.

    Recessive hold their value longer.

You might not get instant gratification since it is a recessive gene (unless you have some het female) but patience with recessive projects always pay off if you have a quality clown.

I'd say it depends on the quality of the bee. As far as clowns go I'm not digging that guys pattern. I think he could be more yellow with less of an alien head look and more of a paint drip look.

Personally, that is not a clown I would pick up. Too busy. But I am uber picky about clowns.

he's not the best clown ive ever seen, but he is more valuable than even a female bee, let alone a male. its just a question of whether you want to reinvest.

if you have a het clown female, sell them both and get a clown combo male. :gj:

No point in spending the money if neither are a nice example though, or at least that's how I look at it. I'd pay more for the less expensive morph but nicer snake then the genetically more expensive but poor example snake. I hope that mad sense. If neither are nice examples better to save money for the one that is.

That is not a Clown I would want to breed. Very low quality in my opinion.
