*NEW - sorta* Male Clown !!! *DUW*
As requested by Doolittle, I present to you all my little clown boy.
I got this little guy before Christmas.
But I haven't gotten around to posting about him.
He's a little shy and sensitive, so I didn't want to disturb him too much while he was in QT.
My ideal clown is to have vibrant yellows and a reduced pattern. But not just a reduced pattern where it would only be a dorsal stripe. I wanted the characteristic clown tear drop pattern. I searched over a year for my ideal clown and found one on Kingsnake last September from Gary Liesen.
The day I unboxed him. He actually shed two days later so he's a little dark here.

Fresh shed back in January.

Okay I have been bouncing the idea around for a bit, but this seals the deal for me: Clowns will be on my to-do list. and there is such variation out there that its really cool and always interesting to find one that strikes you just the right way.

Thank you very much guys. Love you all!
This is the Kingsnake ad photo that hooked me. A little more spots than my liking, but that color! I'd sacrifice a few added spots for bright yellows any day.

Thanks! The camera is a Nikon D3100. Though, the actual light tent booth set up is really ghetto. Lol

I'm a slow poke.
Thank you.
Plans. My big long term breeding project goal are Hypo Clown combos.
I plan on putting him with my Pastel Hypo, Pastel het clown, and Fire Yellowbelly later this year.
Then next year, my Pastel Lesser ph Hypo Clown should be ready to breed. So she will go to the clown if no pastel double Het male offspring come out from the Pastel Hypo.

Its amazing how variable clowns are.
They're definitely a cool gene.
