My new Hog Island

He is just a little worm right now but is calm and friendly as can be. I have him set up in a 20gal tank and a heat mat on a stc 1000 thermostat. If I can find pure hog female that is as docile as he is I might have to my second boa lol!

Thanks! I look forward to getting him a mate, perhaps at the Columbia repticon tomorrow lol. I do need to figure out something so that he can climb a bit in his cage.

He is really cute!! I have two hog islands. I really like them both. Our female is only 6 months old and is REALLY sweet:) congrats!!

Nice hog! Mine is super nice too, unless its feeding time lol. She won't hurt you, ever, unless you throw a rat in there and then put anything near her, like closing the tub lol.

Heh after he finishes his food he leaves feeding mode pretty quickly. He still stays active after eating but isn't aggressive, I've stuck my hand in the cage after he eats to see what he would do, haha. Do most people give their hogs a climbing branch?
