Surf a lot of different breeders websites, browse Fauna and Kingsnake.com, and visit as many reptile shows as you can. Won't be long before you'll start to get a feel for what should cost what. You'll also start spotting quality differences very quickly. Pay extra for quality, pay nothing for a name or fancy website graphics.

If you are planning on breeding then you should start with females. They take longer to mature and by the time they will be ready, you could find a male just as good or better than what you will find now, for cheaper.

really, check the big breeders, and the classifieds and forums. craigslist is not a good source for reference.

Just a piece of friendly advice, if you're planning on breeding buy the best quality stock your budget will allow. Don't pay 125.00 for a so so enchi when 250.00 + will get you a great quality enchi! You're future babies will reflesct this down the line.

im actually not planning on breeding, i only have a normal male. if i were to breed i would maybe only breed it to a pied female. but ty! thats good advice. i guess ill have to learn whats good quality. CL just had a handsome enchi i liked for $80 obo. but since idk what a good looking enchi is ill hold off and learn more on some of the morphs i like

I found on CL 7 BPs all healthty and well fed for $600. (Look at my signature ). I went for it right away xD. If your just getting pets. I say go for a healthy cheap one.
