    New Sunglow Jungle
After getting asked many times by a friend to part with my Sunglow male because she absolutely loves him, I caved after finding the proper one up replacement. It took a bit of searching but after a while I found the exact one for an incredible price. Purchased from the pet kingdom out of san Diego.

More with a nice camera once he's settled in.

Thanks guys I'm pretty happy with the pick up :-) The only other one I was considering was from Perfect Predators, another great guy if you ever get in the market for a boa.

Saw Perfect predators table at Daytona last year and they had some sick stuff. Not even a huge boa fan, but their stuff had me drooling. lol

Yeah, their stuff is just extremely overpriced IMO, but when he offers discount codes, it makes it about market value. But you do pay more for the best...

Now that he's warmed up and drank some water, I put him on the white board for roughly 45 seconds to grab a couple high rez snaps.

    Cody,

I'd love to hear a comparison between what you think about your boas and your SD retics. I am curious about the SD's as I really like the active nature of them and the manageable size. I felt my boa was such an amazing jump from my son's royal python that I'm sold on boas. I hear many people, especially Kali say that if they could only keep one type of snake, it would be a boa.

Looks like you scored on the pickup there.

I'll keep an eye on your You Tube channel for the boas.

Lots of request for new videos as of lately, I am terrible at getting those updated with too much work going into my new photography webiste (www.wildimaging.net) and getting ready for tours I'm leading (Mexico in 3 weeks!) I'll try and put something together for you, and I'll shoot you a PM.

No worries and no rush. You remind me a bit of Gus Rentfro with your field experience and I read you have a Masters in biology??? That is quite impressive to me.

I'm glad you made it over to the boa forum as I usually have to catch you on the giant python forum.

BTW that photo web page is beautiful!

hah, I started my masters, but ran out of course work to finish, got a job offer as a chemist and took it up before trying to cram in misc. course work and hating school.

I'll take the Rentfo remark as a compliment :-) I was just reading his book earlier today on locales.

Thanks for the compliment on the site, been working hard this week getting more images ready for print.

    Cheers,

Beautiful boa! I remember posting somewhere that I wasn't really interested in the albino morphs... Your beauty may have changed my mind on that. :P I'll be curious to see how well he holds his colors / pattern into adulthood.

The breeder you purchased him from, did they breed him themselves or are they resellers (if this is too touchy of a topic, feel free to not answer).

It must be a bad sign that I don't even have my BCA yet and am already wanting more boas. :P

Lol they bred it themselves. The pairing was a hypo het kahl to a jungle 50% Hogg island het kahl. This was the main goal to hit for them. They held back the female they hit and sold their two males. I got one of those males.

Thanks guys :-) He'll get his first meal with me tomorrow. Has been hands off for a few days now, and he's using his hide and regulating himself well. Can't wait to see how this guy looks in a year!

First meal down. Medium mouse leaving a healthy slim lump. Took frozen thawed without an issue.
