Thanks! The fire is my 9 yr old daughters. She paid for her with money she earned barrel racing. I know she isn't the best example, but we love her!

Hey even less-than-awesome examples can still be awesome. I have one of my own and love her. :)

And besides, even a so-so fire can throw you a super fire if you're lucky. ;)

Beautiful fire! My daughter bought the fire for the sole purpose to breed for the white snake! Even if I had found a "perfect" fire for her, she would have still wanted the one she bought. I'm just happy she is interested in snakes and breeding:D

Thanks. That one's name is Fiona. :)

Actually the only time I *don't* look upon her with adoration is when I'm trying to take pictures of her lol. It took a very precise combination of patience and luck to get that picture. :D

Depends on what mood she's in. Sometimes she'll get comfy when I have her out watching TV and sit still on my arm or in my lap for an hour or more. But when she gets in the mood to explore she gets super excited. She's about 1800 grams now so she can be a handful if she decides it's playtime lol. :D

Both of mine are still under 300 grams. It is amazing how fast they are growing though. And they have such different personalities. The firefly likes to stay in your hand and reach out to explore around him, while the fire just wants to keep moving all the time. Neither like to go back in their enclosures:)

I like the names on yours. :) Especially Cranky Frankie. ;)

My lesser girl (bottom right in my signature) really is cranky. She's had a thorn up her butt ever since I brought her home in October. When I get her out, she either balls up, hisses at me, or strikes at my opposite hand when she sees it move. :D I console myself with the fact that she's gonna produce some awesome babies with my fire spider (bottom middle in my sig) in 2015. ;)

My daughter named both of them:) the cranky part came from when we first got him. He struck at me a few times, just stressed and scared. Now he is super tame, but the name stuck. She named the fire Dottie because of the small headstamp she has...looks like you have a nice collection! We hope to give breeding a try as soon as we get ours up to weight. Shouldn't be too long at the rate they are growing. its going to be a fun family project!
