UPDATE (Re: Help- Can't get my new Ball Python to eat)
For those of you who helped me in my last post, here is my update!
I did my shopping today to crowd my new BP's cage more. He seems 10x happier! I also got a gauge so I can see how the humidity is, so now I am able to keep track of that to make sure he is comfortable.
Pyrate81 I have a question for you now, in your comments you said change everything at once and leave if alone for a day.. Since he is usually fed on Thursdays, should I attempt to feed him today or just wait unit tomorrow so he can settle?
Here are some new pictures!

Thank you to everybody for your suggestions in my last post. If you have any more tips please let me know!

Nice looking environment. :gj:
He'll probably roam around for a day or so and check out the new stuff. I'd let him settle and wait to feed him next Thursday. Though some people may override me and say offer him something tomorrow.

Alright I will try again next week!
Re: UPDATE (Re: Help- Can't get my new Ball Python to eat)
I know my humidity is low. In that picture that is right after I put the meter in, since then I have gotten it up to 50%.
I will read up on that. I am aware I have a lot of learning to do, that is why I asked for all the help.
I still have frozen mice left over, I am going to try the things other people suggested first using the frozen ones and if they do not work out I am going to try and find a place around here that sells live mice.
Thanks for the link!

I actually just got it up to 54% now. I will try those things to see if it helps keep some of the humidity in. Thanks!
Re: UPDATE (Re: Help- Can't get my new Ball Python to eat)
So far I've been trying what Slim suggested and just to keep it covered with a bath towel. It did help a bunch but still the humidity went back down fairly quickly. I will give this a try when I get home from work today. Thanks for the tip!

This actually helped a lot, thank you!

I personally use tinfoil for the screen top cover. Works for me. Where is your water dish? I dont see it in the pic

The water dish is in the far left corner under the leaves. I will try the tin foil too, so far I've been trying the damp towels and plastic wrap... humidity still goes down rather quickly.
Re: UPDATE (Re: Help- Can't get my new Ball Python to eat)
At the risk of changing more stuff on him, you can also use eco earth substrate to help with humidity. Or get a larger water dish. And place it under your heat lamp, or over the heat tape (if you have it). Or ditch the aquarium altogether and set him up in a tub. You'll never have humidity problems again.

The way ive noticed alot of people and myself set up the tank would be. Hid on either side (hot and cool) with your tin foil or towel overtop each side with a gap in the middle for your light. And have the water dish right in the middle under the lamp.
