Thanks
i'm wondering how that toiletry system works. and if you are in the middle of a natural disaster or bio-chemical warfare, do you really need to be able to play video games?

LOL .. yes. The video games are key ;)

i'd rather have cable tv and/or internet in there :D
and some room spray, cuz what if there is some biological warfare on the INSIDE? like say your husband had pork and beans for dinner or something and he's gotta use that toilet....

How would it exactly protect you from Bio-Chemical attacks?
Does it have its own oxygen supply inside?

The unit can also be fitted with defensive devices customized to the requests of the purchasers such as tear gas spray, robotic arms, or projectile weaponry.
Sweet! A bed with projectile weaponry :)

The unit is equipped with a bio-chemical filter in case of bio-chemical attack and a rebreather system to enable the operator to seal off all outside air and provide breathable air for a specified amount of time.
I think thats how Blink. Either way ... i think people are a bit too paranoid these days.

You can build a "safe-room", for half the price of that bed.
I'm sure you can get more junk into the "safe-room" then the bed.
You can be standing while making your tofu chili.

I see it has an oxygen air filter thingy....but what if your power goes down during a terrorist attack or chemical warfare. Then how do you get your oxygen? (I'm sure the oxygen thing is powered by electricity)
The thing looks cool and all(guess it brings me back to those childhood days of making your bed into a fort) but for 160 grand I'd rather just build a bomb shelter in my basement. More room and stuff.

Me too, or at least a decent underground bomb shelter. What happened to a good old-fashioned 50's style bomb shelter, complete with a TV set and cans of Spam? I see no cans of spam available with that bed, which concerns me.
But the whole projectile-weaponry thing is a big plus..

haha.... well thats just funny!

I would just sit in that thing for fun! I don't think it would work to well if you had terrorists in your house Im sure they would just lift it up and move you into a river! either that or they would just unplug it. It reminds me of childhood too when I use to make my bed into a fort.
